Such an awkward transfer window, we've got so much players available in the market, but due to Euro and Copa America, agents will be holding on to after the tournament hoping you get cases like Ambarat where players value doubles or triples.

Kai was doing so well since he moved to striker, get a big name LCM or LW already, Partey is injury prone, Trossard is good but we need pace and take-ons, Martinelli hasn't been the same since the start of last season.

Ivan Toney or Evan Ferguson for the Striker/CF. They do need someone out wide on the left for Saka's backup. A combo winger is likely.

I actually don't think we're prioritizing a striker all that much considering the fact that we already have havertz (15 g/a in 12 games at striker), trossard who is way too good to be on the bench, and gabriel jesus who will recover from his knock after the summer. The reason for why this striker stuff has been blown up by the media is because most fans are still hell-bent on a striker, and therefore it gets more clicks. We probably have interest in a few strikers but i think the wings and the midfield are a way stronger priority.

I’m more concerned we don’t so much need a Partey replacement but an upgrade or the very least on best day ..par level but consistent like for like type player.

I dnt think we really need a striker as of now Sesko was an opportunity because he is still quite young open to learn and could have a rotational role whereas other strikers would demand to be in the playing team be it Osimhen , Isak , Zirkzee , in this case What would really happen with Havertz if he would have done which he did at the later part of season from the start of the season he would have been better than Isak, Osimhen, Sesko in terms of Goals and Assists. I think where Arsenal would really focus is on a midfielder flexible to play as no. 6 and 8 then a left back who might play as Ben White and link up with Martinelli , maybe Timber would be enough as we haven't seen him that much his progressive play or byline runs. The most important would be a backup goalkeeper as Lunin is linked if Ramsdale leaves and a wide forward , a flexible one, Saka's backup , Jesus can operate on the left wing so we need a natural right winger .

Why everyone keeps talking about the striker role as if it's the biggest problem that team needs to solve? Goals are not the problem for Arsenal and I don't think they are going to buy a big name striker. We have Kia, Jesus and Nketiah that can play that role. I don't see Arsenal buying a striker if one of these guys don't leave. The focus should be on a back up for Saka, Ordegard, and someone like Onana to help Rice with the defensive midfield role.

I like Osimhen BUT I think a winger is far more important than a striker.. Ideally we get both but I’d take a top winger today over a 9 (based on who is available). Osimhen price tag feels excessive and his injury record last season was pretty bad.

Zirkzee is no more a forward as our skipper, Ødegaard, is. Look at Zirkzee's stats. Those are the stats of an attacking midfielder. Not a striker. But if we go into the 2024/25 season without a recognised striker as every other Premier league side has and we don't win the title, the same old stories will come justup again. _"They didn't win the title because they didn't have a striker."_ So we need an out and out striker. I was gutted to hear that Šeško had signed a new contract with RB Leipzig. He would have been perfect. Osimhen may have been in the team for Napoli, but in the 4 seasons he's been there, he's missed 44 league games due to injury. That's 6 extra games missed over a whole 38 game season. So he may have been there for 4 years, but in reality, he's only played for just under three seasons. And apart from one season, the 2022/23 season, his Napoli scoring stats are in the mid teens at best. And then there are his injury problems. We need someone who's going to be playing for the whole season. Not sat in the medical room. We also need cover for Martinelli and Saka. Désiré Doué from Rennes would fit the bill there. Young and mouldable. Ideal as cover and plays like Martinelli plays. He's not scared to take players on. And we'll need someone to replace Partey as it looks like he's probably leaving. I really dont think we need a striker. Sure if you can get osimhen or ferguson for a good price then maybe but it really doesnt make that much sense. We have so much untapped potential in our squad in attack, rather utilize that. The only thing we need is a winger alternative who can play both sides. Just go all out for de jong or neves and after that diomande(maybe a lb too but i feel thats too much) and we are golden.
