Desperado has yet to reopen after it closed due to the pandemic in 2020. Will it reopen any time soon? Or is it destined to bite the dust?

Me and my niece rode this ride. 30 times in a row. Back in 1995. I had a headache for 2 weeks. We wrote it at night. It was the best.

probably open up in August of 2024 like they did August 1994. they need to add suspension on their transet like they did at the New York New York roller coaster. I'll check back about that ride when we get into August.

I was just there about a week ago. Staff said that there are no plans to re-open at this time. It was a big bummer.

I haven’t ridden this since like 2008, but my three rides on it, I didn’t think it was super rough, and I see people comment that all the time. It was an actual fun ride! I take it as one of my rare credits along with Viper at SFGA and and Batwing at SFAmerica

I was lucky enough to get on Batwing a couple of years ago. Unfortunately Superman Ride of Steel was closed that day though 😞.

Very much hoping this reopens. I will definitely make the drive to Primm to ride this again and even dump some cash at the casino to help their business!

Im from Vegas, last time i rode this beauty was around 2014. It was my buddys 21st and we marathon the thing about 25 times. Lol

Even el loco? It’s not like it has those weird shoulder things. Haven’t ridden the Vegas coasters though so I don’t know.

As a former ride attendant/operator at Buffalo Bill's Casino and Resort/Hotel I don't think the Desperado rollercoaster and the log ride will reopen anytime soon due to the new company ownership also nobody doesn't want to travel back and forth to work from Las Vegas to Primm Valley and gas is very expensive also these employee buses that travel from Las Vegas to Primm Valley no longer in operational

@@CoasterSquabble I dunno it's been closed since 2019 I have a family member that used to work there she told me it's been closed since 2019 I don't think the attractions will reopen they removed 3 rides from there I remember they had only 6 of them Turbo Drop, Desperado, Log Ride, Frog Hopper, Maxflight VR 2002 cyber coaster and the vault 3D experience I don't know how long ago it was taken out also the arcade isn't there anymore it's not the same like it used to be when I was working there from 2007 to 2012 and now it's just a small arcade the food court is no longer there anymore I remember they used to have Panda Express, Pizzeria and Haagen-Dazs also the candy store that Mexican restaurant called "La Salsa" and a Houdini's magic shop

It's so odd for someone to keep referring to the casino as a 'park'. It's a casino through and through man lol...I've been there a hundred times and it used to a lot less bad, now it sucks. They've gone through like 4 owners though and it's not exactly the greatest place.

I referred to Buffalo Bill’s as a resort mostly, but I did slip up and call it a “park” twice in the video. I agree that it is way more of a casino than it is a park.

It won’t ever reopen, I used to work there. And ever since 2010 they been losing money. And since they got rid of 3 rides in past few years, so nope. It won’t be unfortunately

It only makes since to leave it SBNO if it's not making money. Maybe something changes in the future.
