Great video- we used to live in Cleethorpes from being kids- have lived in Canada last 18yrs, brought back lovely memories of Meggies. Pub was the Submarine :) We do miss fish n chips down the prom!

Great video guys, lovely to see somewhere I usually visit regularly. Btw, the Humber estuary is right behind you - the North Sea is one or two miles to the east :)

Top tip for anyone that wants fish and chips at cleethorpes. Instead of trying the larger chippys near the train station or Papa's (the one on the pier.) Go up the top seafront road past the tourist information center and car park just a few buildings, past the shop with all the boxes of books outside, to a small chippy called Welsh's Fisheries. Lovely fish and chips, best in town. Edit, Its on the road directly above the waterfall at 14:37

A popular day out on the train for me and my wife. We once stayed at the premier inn for a weekend. Normally a long walk when we get there past the train then back to town. A good pub called The Punch Bowl that does good food and 2 great Chippies we use. We won't be going until things settle a bit as we are visually impaired.
