When you go to the track and bloomer is there. It just makes the atmosphere different. Just grateful I get to see him compete in my time. What would the world or the dream be without bloomer...

I raced against Bloomquist when he was 19 years old at Ascot Park California

I dont think the competition has anything to do with Bloomer winning!, I think it has to do with his health and his age!.. I've raced against scott several times here in ohio and theres always been damn good competition and he still won!. Once you loose your edge it's not the same, some loose it earlier than others!. Dale jr, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, it's got nothing to do with competition it's got to do with age and losing that edge, I lost mine at 54 mentally and physically!, I could still race today but I dont have the strength or the a lasting fire to keep my edge top notch!. Its a part of life we dont want to admit!, know matter what Scott does hes one CRAZY BADASS DIRT LATE MODEL DRIVER AND I LOVE HIM TO DEATH!. Great video!.

If Bloomquist is there and healthy and the car is ready there's always a chance he can win! Think about the top 10 drivers the last 10 seasons from World of Outlaws and Lucas Oil series Scott Bloomquist is one of the few names that finish strong every year from 2010 to 2019 a lot of the other guys that was doing good around the 2012-2015 seasons fell off after that, but Bloomquist was still running strong and that speaks volume! I think it was that motorcycle wreck that really jacked him up! I've watched Bloomquist do things that nobody else has done especially at Eldora. Just like my first trip to Eldora in 2014 for the World 100 they sent him from first to the rear around lap 20 of the A-main because of his lexan window net, but it didn't matter by that 40 he was already back up to the front passing every driver 1 by 1 not one position was gave to him they made him earn it and he did against the best drivers in the world! I was there to see that race in person Ive always been a Bloomquist fan but after seeing him win the 2014 World 100 against that kind of competition really puts in perspective how good he is when he's on point! And when bloomquist gets healthy and that flame is lit under his ass he will be right back winning I have no doubt

Just found your show. Love it I think Bloomer has some life left in him. Hes for sure a legend like you said hes got a ton of talent around him. Hes just down the road from me. I think hed be best off running more local shows for money hes not been at Tazewell Speedway in forever and always runs great there.

He is still one of the greatest minds in the sport, but father time is undefeated. He won a heat race at the world in Sept, and it looked like he had just ran a 200 lapper at Macon when he got out of the car. He was out of breath and drenched in sweat. He is going to have to get himself in better shape to be competitive in the longer races. I can see him winning a prelim night at one of the eldora races or anywhere else have shorter prelim nights.

Hi: I agree with some of others about Scott's health. He has gotten beat up over the years driving. It's not if the late models are like driving a Lincoln around but health, age and stamina play a big role.

That he finally sits down and writes his account of the Alien spacecraft he saw. Since we already know his neighbors account and Scott just needs to take a moment and write his perspective of the encounter...😁👽

Dale Mcdowell was out of the car for 5 months and was up front everynight during speedweeks with a few WINS in a Bloomquist car so they havent lost ant edge on chassis stuff. I can remember Scott haviing bad years in the past and just when think he is washed up goes on a terror and as far as starting Bmains that dont mean nothing for him lol half the B MAINS are probably from being late not making the call for the heat race either way if he is at the track one way or another he will draw your attention

i can tell you, the know how and the talent is still there. taking time off only makes him stronger. once the leg nerves heal its back to the front even if he starts on the rear he is a threat to win it. Matter of time. 58 is not to old.

I think with a limited schedule he could keep his engines fresh while the regulars are wearing theirs out, much like Kyle Larson. Also, Bloomquist would have data on all the tracks he goes to. No chance at a series championship but a definite chance at some big money.
