Good afternoon, NonaGrace and Jim. It's wonderful to see the chickens around the garden. The little lady was out on quite an adventure, scratching. Is she going to be moving now from the maternity ward? Are there other chickens that may need to be admitted into that maternity house for their incubation period? I hope that the little lady realizes that she will or may need to share the ward at some point in time. I loved this place, watching the chicken feeding in the grass/ garden. It brings back memories. I've been zapped more times than I can count by electric fences. When I was growing up, I was the oldest so my chore was feeding the animals everyday plus filling the mudhole with water, in the pigpen during the hot Virginia summers. Nothing quite like wetting down the electric fence with the waterhose because you weren't paying attention! 😖 ouch!
