I breast fed all my 3 sons in the 60‘s. At that time everyone was using baby bottles. My neighbors ridiculed me . They all were bottle feeding. But slowly in 5 or 6 years everyone was breast feeding. Never understood why bottle feeding would be preferable unless someone was pushing the idea. Making money perhaps! Never was one to run with the crowd .

I nursed all my 3 boys 3 to 6 months. This was in the 1964.I was the only one in our neighbour hood. . You thought I was I was doing something disgusting . Not that I cared. It was the woman that were troubling. They thought they were more sophisticated . It was propaganda pushed by canned baby milk. All about money! Am very independent. There was a nurse who chastised me for the way I was nursing. Really! The nurses were bitches.I had a female Dr. One of younger nurses told me to talk with my Dr. as they were bullying me. My Dr. ( a female) ripped up the whole floor of nurses. I was only 20 years. They all came running in my room to care for me. It was a very , very, difficult delivery and was in hospital for a longer time.
