Hey Rhett and Link, since you have to be within plus or minus 15 percentage points to get the 3 bonus points, then you should never guess a number below 65%. If you guess 65%, then you will be within 15 percentage points for all numbers from 50% to 80%. In fact, you should always guess a number between 66% and 85%.

I've read previously that it's a male/female thing. Women tend to face away, men tend to face towards. And from the various local questioning/studies I've done, it seems to mostly be true. I haven't found an outlier yet among my friends & family at least. Which isn't very scientific, but it makes me really want to do a proper survey of the masses.

The best strategy is to always put it at 65% because then you're still within 15% of 50. So they should never be putting it at 57% like they did here. Simple math

Fresh cooked brownies, edge pieces have a good balance of crunch to gooey, but corners can be too crunchy if the brownies is overcooked, also center pieces usually make better leftovers.

First of all, I think it depends very heavily on the brownie itself. Dry brownies? No way would I take a corner piece. But a good, fudgy brownie? Then you get the maillard reaction in play (or at least that's what I tell myself). The extra heat-based crispiness just makes for more tasty.

I will say if there'd been a 3rd option I'd have chosen it. In order of preference it's the side pieces, the corners then the middle. Sides get a lot of the gooeyness of the middle while still keeping the crispy edge.

I think the best option in the cone vs cup debate is the waffle-bowl. It gives you the waffle-bowl to eat, just like the cone. It gives you the cleanliness of a cup as well and you don't need to pay much attention to it. Plus I find you usually get slightly more ice-cream in a cup, but that might just be a perception thing.

Yes, it's the best. In Sweden, we typically make round brownie cakes and slice it like pizza, so there's a lot of middle and edge on every piece.

Cups are for sundaes and putting extras on. Cone is for just the actual scoops of ice cream. But a great ice cream place you don't need extras.

I agree, though to be honest, I’m not turning down a middle piece. The best is a big enough corner piece to get both the crispy edge and gooey center.

2:57 I agree, about the ice cream. At home I use a vessel; in public, a cone. Why go to a place with fresh cones, and not get one? I have no good answer for this one.🤗🤗🤗
