I just purchased a 23 RRS 500 I have owned many bikes and have been an off-road racer for 30 years and just recently retired from racing. this beta is by far the best bike I have ever ridden out of the box absolutely incredible ride the only thing I’m changing is the hard ass seat and the 2 short kick stand it’s perfect bone stock

Dang dude. Your info is on point in each vid I’ve watched. Currently on a 17 FE 350 mapped and uncapped. That 390 is really calling for me to rescue it. Can you sell to California?

Jared can you put the Beta accessory Da Bomb manifold pipe on the 390-rrs? And what do you think you would get out of it? Also is the 390 rrrs as friendly as it needs to be in the tight trails in 2nd gear with the 13 tooth counter sprocket? Or do you think a 12 tooth would be The Sweet Spot?

Good Morning, to be honest I would save your money from the accessory header pipe. You won't notice a difference, or enough of one for the cost. I think the 13 tooth works great, the 12 might be a little tall but it all depends on your riding style! Enjoy the ride, Jared

a shame that only the RRS (and RR 125 LC) comes with the LED Light. Look lit imo 😁

Maybe in the future the RR models will have an LED light but it's not as necessary for the off road bikes to have the light as compared to the guys on the street carrying more speed. Enjoy the ride, Jared

What is the added weight for the RS? Also is there any power or suspension difference?

Good Afternoon, thanks for watching! The only added weight would be the emissions canister, turn signals and voyager display VS the standard display. Engine & suspension is the same between the two bikes! Enjoy the road, Jared

I put a deposit down on a 390-RR that I am supposed to be able to pick up sometime in the next week or two. The local dealer said the RR can be easily converted to "street legal" & I am wondering what your thoughts are on that as an option? I really dont like the fact that the RR has no real keyed ignition, so I basically have to chain it up anytime I go into a store or restaurant which is annoying. Im wondering if I should call & ask to swap my order for the RS instead, what would you do if you planned on riding maybe 50/50 street/dirt? Also, why is the RR warranty half what the RS is? Good Morning, the whole street conversion thing is 100% dependent on your state and what they allow. The RR line is NOT street legal in all 50 states, especially NOT here in NY. It has a Yellow sticker right on the steering tube that says "Off Road Use Only". As far as the warranty it's simple. They figure the RS customer is going to do more road riding where the RR customer is in the woods. The road bike companies usually offer a longer warranty as they figure it's going to be ridden easier. Enjoy The Ride, Jared

Looking for some advice on a possible Beta purchase. I’m intrigued by the 390 but currently ride a 2018 Husky TE250. I’m out in AZ so we do a wide variety terrain from fast flowing single track to rocky technical stuff. One concern I have with the RR over the RE is the suspension on the RR being to soft for the faster whooped out stuff we ride. I know the Showa stuff stays up in the stroke more and is generally more stuff feeling overall, but that can be tuned softer for the baby head stuff. I didn’t care for the stock suspension on the TE250, too soft on the larger G outs. Also I wanted your thoughts on how the 390 does in the technical terrain vs the two strokes, does it stall a lot in the rocky technical terrain? FYI I’m 60 y/o pretty solid intermediate rider. Thanks in advance for your time.

Good Morning, I really enjoy the standard RR models. I would prefer to give up a little bit of speed in the super fast sections as I am getting older and don't care to go "4th gear tapped" anymore. I am also out of shape to do that for to long anyways. I would rather have comfort for the rest of the ride in the slower technical sections. The 390 is a VERY fun bike and currently at the top of my list. My second bike is the 200 RR. Both are very good but the 200 weighs a little less if you are in very tight trails! The rr/rr-s is kind of in that same vein as the stock Xplor of that time. I too have an '18 TE250 and demo'd the 390 in 2020 along with all the other bikes in the lineup. The 390 was easily my favorite of the 4 st's and favorite 4 st I've ever ridden.

Its the RR headlight interchangeable with the RS LED

I am told from Beta that Yes you can use the RS headlight but keep in mind they connect to the bike differently so you would need all the RS brackets to mount the headlight to your RR. Thanks for watching, Jared

@@3SeasRecreation man I have so many questions, 😩 when purchasing a sprocket what should I look for because when I type Beta sprocket, all that I see its aluminum ones and I like the metal better

So in theory, you could swap the RR header pipe to a RR-S and get more low end torque? I wonder if it affects the top end power? Thanks for the comparison.

Good Evening, yes you could swap the header pipe if desired. Not 100% sure you would really feel the difference. I am also curious to see if FMF comes out with a similar longer header pipe. Enjoy the ride, Jared

Hey buddy, I have a question, someone said the handle bars on the 24 are wider than on the 23? Is this true? About to get a 24 480RR… my 23 had a major malfunction & getting replaced with a brand new one. I liked the 23 so much, I just hope they don’t change ANYTHING. Great Bike! (Was dealers fault, no Radiator Fluid & Oil Pan Bolt was never sealed properly) = 💥

Hi, I wrote from Italy, there is no RR-S version here. I have 350 RR and I really appreciate it. Can you tell me if there is a difference between the engine? Is the quantity of engine crankcase oil the same? How many hours are recommended to change the piston in the RR-S? Thank you

Good Evening! Thanks for checking out our channel, much appreciated! The motor between the RR and the RS are identical. Oil changes are identical. Hours on the motor are 100% tied to how you ride it and in what conditions. I suppose folks that are racing it are doing it more often. Enjoy The Ride, Jared

I am a little confused, I own the 2021 beta 250 RR and live in New York and is fully street legal, all I had to do is add the mirror, and front and rear blinkers. Got it inspected and then plated. Is that not doable anymore in New York ?

Good Morning John, it depends on your dealer or the DMV you walk into! There are some VERY strict and serious fines for dealers that put 2-stroke motorcycles on the road in NY. We found out about 8 years ago and have not since put a 2-stroke on the road. I think some dealers are either hoping they don't get caught or they don't know the rules lol (your bike has a yellow sticker on the steering tube that says OFF ROAD Only and not for Road use) . Good Morning, the stock RS model does come with a fuel vapor catch tank. So anything that comes up and out through the gas tank breather hose goes into a catch tank. This may or may not be able to be removed! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

I think you confused the RR and RS at the end of the video. Isn't the RR the completely street legal version?

Good Afternoon! The RS model is the street legal version that has the added turn signals. The new RR model is strictly an off road bike that does not come with turn signals. Hope that helps! Enjoy the ride and thanks for watching, Jared

I have the rr and it is pre wired for turn signals. Mine is plated. RR is 2 stroke. RS is 4 stroke with turn signals

i just bought a 2023 430 rr and its street legal in nh out of the box with no blinkers just the way it comes, i took a screenshot of the laws for when they pull me over lol you dont need a speedo either but it has that.
