Hola, gracias por ver mis videos. When you are talking about location of places you can use both ser and estar. In theory estar is the right one but in spoken Spanish, people use also ser. Therefore is correct to say "donde es/está el baño?"

Since ahí and allí could sound the same (depending on the country, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Argentina, etc), it might be a good idea to use allá instead of allí
