Hi Greg. Could you please explain how to use “to” and “for” with words: harmful, bad, dangerous to/for health... All your rules don’t explain it(harmful doesn’t mean anything beneficial for someone...) Why people say “he was nice to me”?There is no destination, motion in being nice to someone.

Use of To 1 Destination 2 Motive or reason with verb 3 Giving something to someone 4 With time 5 Comparing 6 Distance use of for 1 function.....ing form 2 for someone 3 Period of time 4 Benefits.. god for health .... 5appointment for.... 6 opinion.... for or against it

Teacher no, explainer yes. There are no teachers on KZfaq. A real teacher facilitates learning. An explainer is a teacher who doesn't know how to teach yet.

I had studied English many years ago, but it happened a lot of time since I really use it so I wanted to refresh it and improved my oral/ listening, which was always a problem to me. Hello and thanks for your work! Is also "FOR" used in the same way as "BECAUSE"? This is a thing I didn't manage to understand well, especially which are the typical situation to use "for" instead of "because", it would be quite useful to hear a word from you about the subject. Thank you!
