About the book story, just some random fun facts: A 22 page book is around either 11,000 words (single-spaced, average of 500 words per page) or 5,500 words (double-spaced, average of 250 words per page), though since it included pictures the total word count would be lower.

The Mr. Bean story reminded me of my sister's MIL who didn't like Milton Berle because he cross dressed on his show for the sketches.

I didn't know he did that. I still like him for his material going towards Statler and Waldorf's heckles.

My best friend is a teacher, and he shares with me many incidents similar to this video. These stories in this video is sadly, very common. He regretted ever being a teacher.

@@JamesDavy2009 that is also true as well. He told me that he rarely sleeps well at night and always worried about everything.

Story 18 is upsetting. No kid getting secret santa gifts just because one mom wanted to be an A-hole.

I kind of understand the problem with the teacher in the 1950's outfit because that style is so old that most of the reference material is found in specific adult films

Something thinks it's not good to learn too much as a kid? Did Me m not get the memo that it's*much* easier to learn things as a kid than as an adult? Maybe especially languages.

You can't teach talent. You can teach skills. But the talented, and the creative, will be able to do things with those same set of skills that normal people will not. Also, in music, there are people who are "disabled", in that they just can't hear the differences in tones and/or are incapable of keeping beat. Instrument s require dexterity. I've known people who are so right handed they'd never pick up guitar or piano. I have lung issues. Blowing in a harmonica for a minute makes me dizzy - i wouldn't be able to play a wind instrument. Instead of bringing everybody down to mediocrity, that father should be more interested in pinning down where his son is having difficulty. The kid might just need a change in n instrument, or change in eye prescription, or a change to music the kid enjoys...

The only instruments I know of that can be played with one hand are the triangle, the Jew's harp and the kazoo.
