1st story: mission failed successfully.

A friend was wrongly accused of sexual assault by a girl known to be abusive to the few people who knew her real face. She never showed that face to her 150k+ followers on instagram. He couldn't defend himself because she was such a big online presence and he was straight up witch hunted, no questions asked. The people threatened him and shunned him before listening to what he had to say. While people who knew her irl knew she's done this to a few people already (a few friends already frequent therapist and meds because of her abuse. No joke.), it didn't matter to the other people. And the guy knows no one would listen to him. Now he can never go online with his real name and he's been severely depressed for a few years. He was a really social guy but now he can barely speak properly with his anxiety and I wouldn't be surprised if I hear that he went and killed himself.

He was smart, but he hanged out with the wrong group. Dropped out

A former work colleague was doing some roofing on his own house. He was the 'security? Pfft' type, so at some point the scaffold he had made collapsed under him and he fell about 7 metres down where a wooden pole penetrated his spine. Today he's paralyzed from the chest down and to my knowledge, is a depressed alcoholic.

Old friend always bragged about her good grades, teacher favoritism and how she was going to follow her father's footsteps as a scientist for most of her life. Unfortunately, she also wanted to stick to the 'cool kids', who were pretty carefree and didn't give much thought. She found out the hard way that good grades and not studying don't mix when she only passed one exam.

My sister knew a young 19 y/o guy at her work who was a total simp virgin. He'd always be trying to talk to her about his insecurities and sexual frustration and would simp all for her, offered to blow his paycheck on her even when she turned him down many times, and he wouldn't care about the fact she's already got a fiancé. He was eventually fired from the job they both worked at, a commissary on a military base, and he was banned from working for any government organization after an anonymous person who apparently knew him well tipped them off and it lead to an investigation where it turns out he had a bunch of private photos of her saved on his phone (like as if he stalked her around or even hacked her social media accounts to get private photos and info). Guy ruined his life with getting labeled as a sex offender of some sort, got banned from working for government jobs, all because he was simping before he reached his twenties. Don't be a simp. On the other hand, my sister's fiancé was away in boot camp when this all happened so he was unaware and couldn't do anything. But when he got news about it, it personally infuriated him so much that it motivated him to get jacked up, graduate top class in boot camp/schools, and then achieve higher ranks as a soldier lmao

Just love the people who get millions of dollars just to end up homeless not even a year later. You would never have to work a day in your life but somehow blew it all in less than a year? This is why no matter how much we do there will always be poor people, some people just can't handle even the smallest amount of money.

My former friend flunked out of college, stopped going to work, lost his girlfriend, gained 100+lbs faster than I've ever seen someone do, lost his apartment now living in his granparents basement and spends their life playing Elite Dangerous or something... He also lost the will to bathe. Knew this dude for 10 years so it was sad to see, but he made his choice. He wanted me to give up on life with him. I stopped talking to him.

In my hometown, we have a big problem with kids' car surfing. One time the brother of a friend of my mom was thrown off while doing it, and he developed severe schizophrenia and several other mental disorders afterward and isn't able to live on his own. Another time a group of kids crashed in someone's yard, they didn't tell him their friend had been surfing on the roof when they crashed. When the car was pulled out of the mud they found his crushed body. The autopsy showed he was still alive under the car for a while and suffocated after around 10 minutes. All the survivors were sent to jail on manslaughter charges and 3 of the 4 are still there now, 6 years later

I feel like I see this kind of video come out every other week.

My step brother went to a grammar school and I was constantly reminded he was going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. He was GIVEN by a family member a law apprenticeship after he completely failed his GCSEs and then a levels and a few weeks into that apprenticeship he paid this girls drug debt off for her so she’d sleep with him and she got pregnant and he was forced to keep it and move to another country with her while he now works a factory job with his kid called (his name) junior. While I was studying for my law degree in the UK, few friends of my flatmates were over. We were all drinking and the guy with the car passed out drunk, and my friend who could handle the most alcohol decided that we should take the passed out guys car and drive to macdonalds. First I was like don't do it it's a bad idea..but I was hungry and no one wanted to pay for pizza(dumb drunk idea). Eventually us three got in the car and drove to macdonalds(five minutes away from the house), everything was fine we brought the mcdonalds and ate it while driving back. Then the driver decided to do a donut around the roundabout, I started yelling at him to stop the moment he started. He stopped after two rounds and when he stopped police flashed their lights. He wanted to run away as he told us guys I didn't bring my licence, luckily he listened to me and didn't run. The police arrested him and held him over night, luckily me and the other guy were allowed to go home. I told him don't bother with a lawyer as they have you red handed and just make a deal. He didn't listen and got a lawyer...he lost and he had to pay 400 pounds fine and 350 pounds to the lawyer. The lawyer was shit..couldn't reduce the fine or anything. Though luckily as it was a first time offence his visa didn't get affected and now he had a visa sponsored by an IT company( he's an AI genius). There is a weird side story to this..he's like if you would have fucked the drunk girl this wouldn't have happened.

Was told not to do any activities because one bad fall and paralysed for life went out bike riding and fell in a ditch and now probably paralysed He had health issues and thats why he had to stay inside

A few of these are straight up "diagnosed mental disorder and wouldn't take their meds," can anyone explain why that's common? I have allergies and I make allergy meds a priority to keep in stock and taking regularly, if I had something as serious as BPD or chronic depression, I would think I'd do the same with my brain meds.

So while the one cop is talking to the guy in the house and the other went outback to talk to tyler. That's where Tyler pulled out a 410 and shoot the cop in the face then just gave up. The cop lived but had to get surgery to remove his eye and shit like that.

a friend turned 18. had a fight with a 17 year old kid. almost killed him and go trial as an adult. literally couple months until highschool graduation. so no highschool diploma. When he got out after 2 years, he ended up knocking up a chick who is way older than him. Now he is hating his life...

The dumbass didn't plan for her to take the email to the police, the police didn't pursue a case against him but the high school he and I went too wanted too, I was terrified that I would get in trouble because they email came from my laptop so the dude took advantage of my fear and manipulated me say to it was me who did it he claimed it was because he wanted to go over what he wanted to say to the school board but then he attempted to through me under the bus to the school board thankfully for me they didn't believe him and they expelled him. His mother to this day believes he's innocent and that I'm an asshole who got him expelled for a crime he tried to say I did.
