@Arian Philips speaking is by far the easiest part of the exam. But to pass the whole exam with flying colors, one needs, among others, to master many idioms and collocations, learn to manage the time while completing the given tasks, and form a certain way of thinking, the last having been the most arduous thing for me personally, as I noticed that when dealing with the reading part, I would interprete the given ideas in the way opposite to the author's. So, it is also about your cultural background and the way you see the world around. Rumor has it, the exam has been simplified since 2010, when I actually took it. Things might have changed since then. IMHO.

No it's not. I am German and in Germany we call the Flip Flop also "Flip Flop" and I still don't know the Word 🤔😂. My English level is between A2 and B1. My German level is C1 or C2, but I still don't really know the grammar rules. So in the German language test I would probably only have B1 or A2. Nevertheless, I have mastered spelling and can form correct sentences. You don't learn a language by learning grammar rules and vocabulary. You learn it by listening, reading and speaking a lot of the language. The grammar rules come at the end. A toddler doesn't learn the rules of grammar first either.
