TRUE i had 53t sram that was a beast i could keep up with cars once i would get to speed going like 50mph on a 35mph street was dope af. Miss those days. I ride bmx now so i use 28t to a 9t cog and a 25t to a 9t cog

Bro i just realized im not really into fixies, im a urban commuter, we have stop signs everywhere, its literally short sprints back to back with very few lucky moments where the lights are all green. Multiple gears is the way to go

Not really, they got it from repeated training and mostly from supplements like protein shakes and creatine (im a road cyclist)

So that explains a lot. Got that 52 tooth sprocket on my bike. Feels like leg day sometimes after riding for a bit. Keep the tour bike in 11th gear for good acceleration. To slow down or go faster I will go up or down a gear depending on the wind direction. That 12 speed Schwinn Super Le Tour is a great bike to get around on.
