Hi guys! Hoping this will be useful for anyone who wants to start roller skating! The skate community has been growing so much and I just wanted make it a little bit easier for anyone to choose skates with this little resource! I really tried to gather my thoughts for this video and tried to lay them out as best as i could. Most of the comments are based off of my opinion and experience with these five skates i own . If you see any mistakes with the specs & description please let me know (like nicely if you can please huhu i tried my best thank u😅🙆🏻‍♀️🐒) .

In this video, I am reviewing my Impala Skates, Moxi Panthers, Riedell Zones, Moxi Lollys and Moonlight Rollers.
Note:
There are definitely a ton more other beginner skates out there that are also good quality buys if you research more on them. I can’t tell you which one is the best skate out of everything from the market but i can show you the things that i like about each one of these that i own + what i felt were really awesome about them + what didn’t quite do it for me.

I just got the Panthers based on this video review and I’m so glad I did. They’re a complete game changer. Those puppies are so well balanced and smooth. It *almost* feels like there’s a magnet keeping you stuck to the ground. Coming from the rainbow riders which were fine but these are definitely an upgrade. And so unbelievably comfortable. Thank you so much for this video!!

I have Riedell ones and I have absolutely zero problems with them and I’m very happy I got then compared to other skates

What a pack filled video. I watched it twice. I wear a 10 and have wide feet. Just got Impalas today and they feel like a size smaller and narrow. I'll have to return them. Plus, too stiff for my liking. Not sure if I should go for Lollies or Moon. Thanks for your in depth review.

Moonlight rollers are perfect for me because I have wide feet, good for outdoor, and indoor, and especially the price range is in not that pricy. Definitely going to invest in this in the future.

I went from Impalas to Panthers (they like their wildlife names!) Noticed a big difference. They do need a bit of breaking in but I can see the benefit of having better ankle support. I suggest changing the cushions and adding an insole for added comfort. A huge difference is the toe stop. I find the Impala ones impossible to use. They are in a weird position, especially if you have big wheels.

Thank you for this, it's very informative. I think I'm going to go with the panthers as my first sk8! Are there also indoor wheels we can switch up for rink occasions? Or would one buy a whole other pair for indoor. Excuse my ignorance here I'm new at this 😆

I’m getting panthers soon. I decided to get them over the lollys because of the price. That and I don’t think they seem like an inferior boot to the lollys. In some ways they even seem better then the lollys. One day I want to get lollys too but for a pair of first skates I think the panthers will be perfect. I already know how to skate though. I just haven’t done it since I was like 13 and I’m 24 now so I’ll probably be VERY rusty 😅

What a great video!! Thanks so much! I need to get new skates as the Roces I have are just too bulky and ill fitting for my feet 😔😮‍💨 And I'm debating the Lollys and the Moonlights. Now just to decide which one 🙌❤

Omg , I have 6 pair of skates, the moonlights were to big, but I put a nice insole in there and it made it a whole new boot! Now it’s perfect

I definitely think im starting in the bont parkstars but ive been dreaming of the moonlights ever since I saw them. They definitely sound like the heeled skate for me, in the future 🤩 Thanks for thr info!

hi! which site did you get the riedell zones from? and what wheel color did you choose because one of the options is aqua but I didn't think those looked like an aqua color so I just wanted to make sure because I love the tan and blue wheels together!! thank you so much!!! amazing and well-designed video! 🎋🎋

Do u think I want the moli panthers and I wear a women size 9.5 and I’m curious do they run big or men size only for the panthers …so should I get 9 or 8

I wanted lighter skates because mine are heavy and i feel that is the reason i cant do tricks. But you just said that the hevier the better to learn so now idk 😹
