we have the same pc watts consumption but i have 850 watts psu. do you think 1500va is enough for my pc and two monitors? (24” 1080p and 27” 1440p)?

Yes it will definitely help your computer big time, you don't need one like mine thst it has a battery, as long as you buy a surge protector it will help it alot. And by the way I'm from mexico too que paso compa! 💪😅

@JD Lion so how does it work, wouldn't it be the same since if the power goes out I'm guessing surge protector will also turn off and flip which will turn off the pc.

@@alexolivares854 what the surge protector basically does is that when it receives any excess voltage (electricity) the surge protector will immediately divert the excess current and absorb it so that it doesn't go directly to the computer other wise if you have your computer connected directly to the wall all that excess voltage goes directly to the computer and can damage components on your computer, now if you get a surge and battery protector like me the battery will let your computer stay on so that you can safely shutdown your computer and not lose any important files that's it

@JD Lion so pretty much the pc will still turn off but it won't be damaged. So surge protector will only balance the excess current and although the pc will still turn off it won't be damaged

Just unplug your computer during an outage

I pluging the ups to the wall and the pc to the ups, always connect your ups to the wall and don't connect anything else to the wall outlet, connect everything else to the ups!
