November 13, 2015 was one of the darkest days in France’s history as it was hit by a series of terrorist attacks. And it all started during a football match between France and Germany, at the Stade de France.

I remember when I watched this on tv together with my dad and when the noise of the explosion was audible and the players hesitated for a moment and watched around. Scary stuff even in front of the tv. I was 16 and usually I‘m not a person who gets visibly emotional but somehow tears came to my eyes without control of it. We live in a cruel world.

Asking about England-France, there was a similar thing about the solidarity between two countries following a big tragedy. In 2017, after England suffered three terrorist attacks in just only 4 months, one of which involved another attack at the music event (Ariana Grande's concert in Manchester Arena), France played against them at Stade de France, only several months after the catastrophic attack in 2015. Before the kick-off, everyone sang the national anthem of UK while French military bands also performed one of Oasis' titular hit, Don't Look Back in Anger. Even they claimed victorious in that game (3-2 win), they showed a solidarity for England in response to the dark days happened in Manchester and London.

I was watching this game live and remember the sound exactly At first I thought it was one of the huge firecrackers (like Polen Böller or Russen böller) when it later came our that it was an actual bomb I was shocked

I remember i was very young when this happened...i think I was in 4th class I returned from my school Started to have my lunch alongside my family and the news flashed " TERRORIST ATTACK IN FRANCE DURING A FOOTBALL MATCH " I was like WHOA WHAT A TERRIBLE AND HORRIFIC INCIDENT 😢😢
