What The BasketBall Community Really Thinks Of Caitlin Clark
The basketball world is buzzing about Caitlin Clark, with Shaq praising her abilities and Charles Barkley acknowledging her record-breaking talent. Steph Curry and Luka Doncic commend her skills, with Luka even claiming she shoots better than him. LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith hail her as a force to be reckoned with, while Shannon Sharpe praises her offensive prowess. Despite the acclaim, some doubt her potential in the WNBA. Despite the mixed opinions, Caitlin's talent is undeniable. She continues to lead women’s basketball and is clearly set to take on the responsibilities of carrying women’s sports to the next level.

The reason for the hate from former college and current WNBA players is that they could not bring attention to college women's basketball while they were in college.

@@Redridge07 Im a racist and dont know it after saying things that are absolute falsehoods to make a person of another race look bad is ignorance at a very high level. She is an absolute racist, and I firmly believe she doesn't know it despite how obvious it is. If Swoopes were white saying things like that about a racial minority player you would never hear from her again. Nobody would give her a platform. The sad part is in the world of basketball. Clark is the minority. They should be doing all the can to build her up. The old reverse racism thing. Clark is going to dominate the WNBA inside of two years. They've never seen a shooter close to her, and her ball handling skills along with her ability to see people are just sick, which nobody seems to mention all that much. Swoopes could be worse, she could be telling people she wants whites dead.

Sheryl Swoopes was on an ESPN panel discussion today during Iowa's open practice session. She started off telling everyone how glad she was that "everyone looks like me". Then she made a point of confirming some of the panelists were "people of color". She is very quick to throw verbal roadblocks in the way of Caitlin Clark and WNBA. Caitlin is not the face of the greats she wants to see succeed in WNBA. I wish Sheryl could not filter everything through the lens of race.

This is why the WNBA is failing. They can't see past their ideology... If you are a player in the WNBA you should be in the GMs office begging to do what you can to get the #1 pick to get Caitlin on your team. If she is on your team, every game will be televised, and you'll play to a sold out crowed for once. That is good for all of you. But WNBA players are kinda dumb. They say things like "We want a higher revenue split". WNBA has never made money.

I think the WNBA is failing due to not being marketable to middle America. It's a women's league BUT the league comes off very " Butch" respectfully.. you may think.. " wHaT dOeS tHaT hAVe tO dO with anything.. well parents want their kids to emulate the players.. think Steph Curry, LeBron.. not so much Draymond or Ja.. the WNBA needs to find those ladies to market towards young girls.. also most guys don't wanna watch wnba player's cosplaying as dude's... You'd just watch the article original.. the ladies in the Wnba Should EMBRACE Caitlin, Angel and everything that comes with this draft class.. you have eyes on your league that have NEVER considered watching games.. I'm considering GOING to a game.. and it's a ton of potential fans like me.. ones who only considered NBA games.. now we have another option.. hopefully the bitter old heads in the Wnba don't mess it up and cut their noses off to spite their faces.

I hate to say it , but all of these players are just jealous for a couple of reasons, one Clark has set records every single year she has been in college what did any of them do , and two Sheryl Swoops lied in an interview 5 times about Clark, I think she is jealous although she will not say it is because the one who is doing it is a white Christian girl and not black. see they like talking smack like Reese did and when they lose then all of a sudden you just don't understand BRO!!!! just like in her press conference after the game crying boo hoo for me, no What reese got in the rematch was a woman who pick her game up as real champions do, unlike what she did, Clark said not this time. and then rained in 3 after 3 saying (COME GET SOME)!!!!!! and they just couldn't handle her. She is the college goat for sure, and we will see what happens in the pros. I bet more of the same.

That’s cute.. you might wanna check Swoopes résumé, she has nothing to be jealous of. Champion in college and the pros, with multiple MVPs. If I beat you for a championship and the next year you beat me in the elite that’s not really doing anything, she has to win a chip or it’s just yapping you’re doing. Reese got ring that she got beating Clark. Look at the players records that Clark surpassed in college then look at their WNBA career. College means nothing when you’re talking about pros. It’s all hype… this draft class is all hype… the ballers are freshmen and sophomores.

Clark has 1 Top 50 teammate. LSU should've been thanking Clark for beating South Carolina, but of course the bum known as Reese had to go taunt the best player on the court instead of celebrating with her teammates. For all the haters stop playing with Caitlin’s name. She is goated. Stats alone prove that, numbers don’t lie. And if I’m being honest, she’s the first female athlete that got me to tune in to watch a woman’s college basketball game.

Oh really, Angel is the first one that got me to watch the games. She may not have the same rating as clark but I am drawn to the underdogs because I believe if you're presume the least, God can raise you to be better. If not in this world, it's the next world. This world is temporary the next world is permanent. There's nothing in this world to fight for. I expect Angel to look to God to raise her up. Man will fail her. God is her anchor.

If the WNBA team that drafts Caitlin Clark doesn't build the entire team around her and adjust the tactics to suit Caitlin, they are making a big mistake and wasting her potential. Something similar to what the NHL did with Connor Bedard.

Before we can say that she is the G.O.A.T. one better check the statistics in a "Team" driven sport accomplished by "Dawn Staley" who has numerous "Olympic Gold Medals", as well as "National Championships" won as a "player" and "coach". The woman simply excelled in winning after leaving Murell Dobbins High School one very celebrated player. She stands very quietly the best player ever produced in the "City of Brotherly Love" with her mountains of world class recognition. Then there is "Luisa Harris" who had a storied career in the limited arena of early women's college basketball. Her high school, college and Olympic court accomplishments were in fact so noteworthy, that she remains to this day to be the only "WOMAN" to ever be drafted by the "National Basketball Association" {NBA}. What Caitlin did was definitely something short of amazing but in the overall picture there were two other females who scored more points than her in the collegiate realm, they just did not play in the NCAA Division One {1} ranked school. They did not garner the national attention in the sports by-lines, often appearing in articles in small print below the advertisement that said, "Shingles doesn't care, and neither does the rest of America".

In the pros, doubling her will cost you because she loves to pass and is deadly at it, and if you don’t double her you’re still conceding thirty/ten/eight average every night. It’s ridiculous to look at her skill set and not see a good pro prospect. Maybe most important, she’s constantly watching the game, looking at everything and aware. That will certainly transfer to the pros.

I can't stand how her upcoming peers are constantly hating on her for no darn reason. Its sad how someone's else's self dedication, motivation and personal success can cause others internal jealousy to unfold globally for the world to see. Their envious ways tors her success can't even be confined within themselves, and I don't have to mention any names either. They know who they are. The hole world knows who they are. Its that visible. Their souls are fueling with hatred right now because of all the attention Caitlyn Clark is getting. Its almost like they want it to be them forcefully to us fans. I personally stopped watching basketball after MJ's 1st retirement and only watch (playoff games) when the Celtics are playing in hope for another CHAMPIONSHIP! Go Celts! In fact the only teams I've ever cheered for are New England based teams with the exception of MJ playing for the Chicago Bulls and Tom Brady during his Buccaneers run. Now I'm like GO FEVER! and I know nothing about Iowa. The only reason I'm even watching basketball at all is to watch Caitlyn Clark play. Honestly, I was about to go all in becoming a WNBA fanatic, but after witnessing Caitlyn Clark's haters throughout the league I figured I'll just watch Fever Games from now on, or Caitlyn's highlights moving forward. I can't picture myself ever watching grown men, or women play any sport with jealousy and hatred in the heart tors another persons recognition. Unfortunately, for the WNBA players that can't stand all the attention she's getting., well, she earned it by playing her ass off, braking men's & women's college records. Unfortunately she just happened to play a hell of allot better than all of ya during her college run, no exceptions. MJ was embraced throughout the league by his peers because players respected what he was doing for the game. Maybe that's the difference between men's and women's basketball. Anyways, I hope Miss Caitlyn Clarks MJ's the entire league for the next two decades to really give them (all) something to hate on!

1 said I just heard of her during the LSU game, 1 said I only watched the 1st half, and 1 said the way she showed up in the fashion she did is greatness but all of you who are blinded by her “greatness” are failing to look at her shooting percentage and her inability to “show up” in clutch moments. Run the numbers of all the people she surpassed, even Steph’s numbers, and if her shooting percentage is better than all of them…then I will drink the kool-aid and agree, she deserves this level of hype. Her assist numbers can only be this high if her teammates are making baskets, which implies they are good also, and finally, the hate is not because she’s not black, the hype is because she’s white. Currently there are several other players that are putting up staggering numbers, who are accomplishing great things, and they are younger than her. They are being over shadowed because the need for a new great white hope, and she was chosen to be the face for that hero. Not hating, can’t be racist, just stating common sense facts. She’s good, very good, but I only learned her name this season (mainly because of Angel Reese), which means….great…is an overreach. Run The Numbers

You need to stick to Insurance, You don’t break as many records as Clark has by being good and/or very good. You didn’t take into account that just maybe Clark was exhausted and has to carry her team? Here’s some stats for you Iowa starters out scored SC starters 75/51, SC bench out scored Iowa’s bench 36/0. SC bench won the game Period. Go look at some of Steph Curry’s 3 pt. shooting stats during the 2016 thur 2019 NBA final games where he only shot 1/10, 0/9, 4/14 and there’s more. Before people like yourself speak do some research on other players. She’s White, Straight, Making Bank and there Jealous. She is going to light there Asses Up.

Undefeated all season .... and through the Tourney - just sometimes you tip your hat. Iowa fought back again and again .... they were of indomitable spirit and kept coming back ..... they should be proud .... though I know they are hurting right now .... twice the Maidens .... but, denied the prize !
