Vini stayed at Madrid and fought for his place so hard even in an environment that wasn't that kind to young prospects such as llorente, hakimi, brahim, odriozola, odegaard and many others. His mentality is strong and he will take a huge step this season for sure!!! 🔥

The thing I love about vinicius is his professionalism, commitment, passion and the fact he doesn't meddle in drama and is very cool-headed. He really does work hard to improve and get the most out of his gifted talent, UNLIKE dozens of other brazilian superstars before him. All I wish is for him to keep at it. He's not the next ronaldo phenomenon or ronaldinho, he'll never reach their level of competence, but he can be a greater player if he keeps this mindset.

The likelyhood gets lower with age of course, but footy is incredible not only because it changes but also because of the miracles that can happen. Will it happen, probably not 😂. The only explanation for me as to why people are surprised about Vini is that they never actually watched him play but saw the memes. Anyone that watched consistently saw greatness in him, he just needed to take better decisions at the end of his plays. The moments he did, like against Barca and Liverpool, he was just unstoppable. This videos of “what happened” are so surprising. What happened? He fucking trained his finishing and decision making skills for years. The papers talked about it constantly. What happened? I always knew his career would follow Sterling's in terms of the goal scoring aspect. Sterling was also frustrating early on but started being more efficient as he got older.

Ancelotti isn't responsible for much technically, but he does put trust in his players, which is also pretty important I guess. Vinicius is the way he is nowadays because of his work ethic and the professional staff in real madrid, not ancelotti who just came in.
