the horrific injury( no one ever gets back to 100% after that type of injury) the team around him-esp the midfielders dont protect the defence like they used to his age-he is 5-6 years older now

Man premier league has taken a major turn, arsenal, newcastle, tottenham, man utd are back on the top while liverpool and chelsea are struggling, even leicester who used to contend for top 10 are now almost certain to face relegation and are now last or second last in the table Even as a chelsea fan these all are very surprising

He's had an Acl injury and is being forced to play a high line with 2 at the back and almost won a quadruple. Now that there's no midfield cover there's just no protection for the 2 CB's in the highline when the fullbacks go forward.

@@siyamahmed8368sorry but last season it was okay to say Van Dijk is already one of the best of all time in the prem and this season he’s nothing. it’s either you all have short term memories or your just too young to know that even the greats have fluke seasons which this is Van Dijk’s first fluke season. Let me remind you Vidic, Ferdinand all had a bad season and Van Dijk is in the same process. you lot are also probably the same people that call Salah a 1 season wonder.

Indeed, he will. Hopefully without the distraction of Europa League football, because I firmly believe that LIVERPOOL will definitely miss out on the top 4 this season. However, I do have great faith in Sir Jurgen Klopp; he NOT ONLY rebuilt and brought our club immense success without Europa League football (initially), we went on to be a dominant force both in England and Europe. So, for me, in an effort to start rebuild, Klopp needs to remember what he did between 2015 and 2018, recruit proven quality players that complements HIS philosophy/system/style of play (without the added weight of European football), providing that the players he needs will join the club without any BIG money move per se. #InKloppWeTrust

@@imrhannephew1892 i mean liverpool back 4 got exposed really easy this season because they had a bad midfielder..... it's seems like every team can get past liverpool midfielder really easy & force a 1v1 against defender, every big team have a strong midfielder to covered up their defender but not with liverpool. Henderson & Fabinho are declining really hard this season
