This time last year we failed to qualify for the champions league and failed to win any major trophy. We have improved a lot this season. Winning a league cup is great, even if it’s the last trophy I wanted us to win, as well as qualifying for the champions league. Klopp is leaving us in a good place. This Liverpool team were never meant to achieve what they have this season, completely rebuilt midfield that had only the pre-season to gel and numerous defensive injuries (including the GK) which saw Klopp's kids arise, aswell as some truly shoddy VAR decisions going against them in big matches (Diaz offside, Doku taekwondo on McAllister and Odergaard playing basketball in the area). You could say their season fell off the cliff, many would argue they shouldn't have been atop the cliff to begin with...

Im also gonna say that the errors statustics are true just from watching the games, finishing attacking moves is just impossible for our front 3. Unfortunately, despite being a big fan of your work, I'm only seeing this now. I'm also a Klopper, he really changed our lives and left a mark on the identity of the club. If I was writing this 8 days, we knew we were done in April, just a terrible month while the competition was just nuking everyone on a regular basis. The reasons were mostly physical, we get too many injuries still without the depth of the super rich clubs. We often got complacent too, thinking we were mentality monster who will always come back. At the end of the day, we had a freak shit month, hard to accept still.
