The context for that statement about markets is usually criticism of capitalism. So it sounds particularly strange when it shows up in this different context. It honestly almost feels like an attempt at leftist virtue signalling. The statement mostly refers to financial markets though, so - again - it's just seems strange and out of context.....

Great vid, you encapsulate basically everything I hate about the current state of gaming and sadly the reason why those politics just won't go away from video games for a while... no matter how much I wish they could. So far so good. The thing is ESG and DEI might not affect customer satisfaction, fair, but they do affect stock value. That's why it's there. The moment it stops it will be out. And when you have something designed by committee or by corporate it turns out crap. Never seen that before, oh, wai... ET wasn't diverse, but it was a corporate product that crashed the industry (it's a myth, but I stand by my point). And somehow given all that - it's the people that want a change you personally don't agree with are the issue, the root of cause of it all. Are they, really? A relatively small and also very vocal percentage of people want a change. Some want it sincerely, some want it for clout, some are in for money or some other gain. They use all the tools available to them. You could even say they 'conspire' together, sure. But it's also normal, that's how things are done. It just happens to be the bunch that you particularly don't like, it seems. So maybe stick to Dragon Age videos. Or don't and go all the way down the right-wing conspiracy spiral if you're so inclined, or anything, I'm not telling you what to do.

Hey man, I generally like your RPG stuff, but in general I don't like too much "political" (whatever that even means these days) stuff dropping in my KZfaq feed most of the time. Just makles me nervous when I just want to kick back and relax. Sometimes I hesitate clicking on your other videos sometimes because of the fact that I'm a little scared that it will contain some more political stuff as well when I'm just not in the mood for that shit. I really don't mind you voicing your opinions on this kind of stuff, even though I think we probably disagree on quite a few things. It's just not always fun to have this mixed up with your other more game-related stuff. Wouldn't it be good fodder for a second channel or something?
