I played 3 years in the TBL, I recommend guys have college or TBL experience first before going. It’s all a money grab just like most pro tryouts. They already know who they’re picking up before the tryout even starts

People don't understand how good you really have to be to make the G league especially the NBA... I've worked with Teens whom I asked what do they want to do they say, "I want to play in the NBA" and majority of them who say this aren't even on the high school team, unrealistic!!

In all honesty. I’m trying to make the G rn. When I first watched your video I was a little discouraged but then I went to go see your stats and highlights and I can see why you may have not really made an impact. I am so not trying to take shots at you. I’m practicing breaking down players and games. When I watched your highlights. You only did one thing. It seems like you can ONLY do ONE thing. Now that thing you do… you’re probably legitimately one of the best 3pt shooters in the history of the planet. There are lest than a 1,000 people who’ve probably hit 100 3’s let alone 200. After that tho there wasn’t much to see. For instance Duncan Robinson is considered “just a shooter”. In his one season at D3 he took more 2 pointers in that one season than you did in your entire collegiate career. Like can you facilitate an offense? Can you pass? Can you attack the basket? Can you rebound? Block shots? Shot the ball from inside the arc as well as you do from 3? There’s a lot of nuisance that goes into picking players. No one can say you don’t have talent but compared to other guys who are your size or taller and can do half of the things i just listed or all of the things i just listed. Then you aren’t really going to get a shot. Over the years especially coming out of highschool I realized you have to be “undeniable”. I promise you those coaches probably thought “yeah he can shoot the 3 but what else can he do?” You HAVE to be able to do more. You HAVE to. If you look at the guys who get the chance they all are great at multiple things. What things can you say you’re GREAT at besides shooting the 3? Commenting this shit under your post is definitely super hating but I’m literally not trying to be. I think I’m close to being a professional so I’ve been looking up peoples experiences. I’ve heard a lot of different methods as far as how they go. My brother was an assistant coach for the texas legends and a close family friend was the head coach. His name is “Nelson Terroba” I’ve been watching and learning. Like you’ve been around pros. What do y out tbink sets them apart from you? I guess it’s time to criticize myself since I just did you for no reason but for me I know when I was younger I didn’t have real handle. Not enough to handle pressure and I couldn’t shoot 3s AT ALL. But over the last 8 months I been working on that shit crazy. I playing like crazy and being so intentional and intense with how I train. Like I was definitely not a great basketball player before. Now I was one of the better players in central texas but that’s only because I was supremely athletic and tbh that’s the missing piece to my puzzle. If I had that athleticism back no cocky shit id be in the league rn but life happens. Got really sick. Depressed. Etc. Now I finally feel like I have a chance again. That shit mean so much to me. I’ll finish by saying. You definitely have experience to share with other hoopers. I really appreciate this video because it forced me to think. Like truly think about how it might be for me. I’m going to the Grand Rapid Gold so we’ll see. I think you got a professional skill. You shoot the 3 better than 80% of the league. I would just say add more to your game. Cause you already got a skill that could get you on the floor. Like I said it might seem harsh and if you wanna come back at me and look up my stats you can but I’m literally practicing learning and evolving. I had a pretty solid game back then but solid ain’t gone cut it and not being a nuclear athlete for sure not cutting it. Hopefully others can read this and learn from it and learn to change how they work/perceive certain things. Peace🙏🏾

Everyone get your own opinion… it is different set up for every team , for example Detroit will probably give players more chance worser team , Washington teams like that I’ve been to one in Orlando and they let you play and pick the best they want to see from who’s there and I got picked up to play in front of the coach , just get your own opinion ..

Is it possible to get a agency even if you haven't played in college ball? And have you gotten any opportunity overseas from your agency?
@The6ixShooter
@The6ixShooter 11 ай бұрын
i played in a pro league called the TBL and got a few offers overseas just the money wasn’t great. It’s definitely harder to get an agent if you didn’t play in college but certain agencies have showcases that if you go and ball out you could get signed but it’s no guarantee

@@The6ixShooter I have no idea what kind of amount was offered to you, but rookies usually get lousy paychecks in Europe in the beggining, until they have proven value. This is cruel standard. There are plenty of examples of great d2 players in Europe that made it eventually to the top european leagues (German, French, Spain, Russian, Adriatic, Italian, Turkish, Greek, Russian are considered top leagues....middle level is BNXT (Belgium and Netherlands), Hungary, Romania, Poland, Finland,Serbia, Czech Republic, Portugal, Denmark, Estonian-Latvian-Ukrainian league, Lithuania...lower level leagues are Austria, Sweden, Bosnia, Slovenia,North Macedonia, Armenia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Great Britain, Norway, Montenegro...I am writing for first divisions on average level of course,mmoneywise and level wise, there might be some clubs that pop out of average, for example London Lions in Great Britain that play in Eurocup..) .... for example David Logan, that was pushed by our slovenian coach Sasho Filipovski in Poland and is still proven vet who has seen almost all top european leagues and was still playing last year in Italian first division....., Thad McFadden who is currently playing in Spain and Fiba Champions League , Brad Oleson .... or undersized elite shooters like Jaycee Carrol, Kyle Kuric etc. You need patience and leave ego at the door. It also helps if you play in a club that plays pan european competition (Euroleague is top level, consist of 18 clubs,extremely close to NBA, middle level are Eurocup (20 teams) and Fiba Champions league (32 teams in regular season), lower level is Fiba Europe Cup (40 teams in regular season)) or some regional competition (like Alpe Adria cup, Adriatic league second division or ENBL) beside national league. There you can play 2 games per week
