Great advice. I know I don’t live in canada but I’m the USA as an international student, I’ll recommend making sure you look for where all your classes will be, get a bank account, get your social security so you can get a job ASAP.

Anyone who intends on coming to Canada better do their research, Canada is very highly taxed, we have a high count of homeless, because of no vacancy, and don't forget the ever rising hidden costs in everything, as well restraunt food is very expensive with tiny portions, just saying do your research, this is not the land of milk and honey.

Hi Jas, You may want to contact an immigration lawyer or immigration consultant about other leave options to stay in Canada after your PGWP expires. How did you find email responses from universities? Im looking to apply to Concordia in Quebec for Neuroscience. They state that I can apply with just GCSE/IGCSE grades but dont specify what grades are required and ive had no contact back. Thanks

Yes of course! Passport, Birth certificate or if you have the Canadian provincial ID like a BCID, and bring along your study permit document too as secondary ID!

Hi ms. Rachel is it ok to travel to canada. A week before your class starts? Coz my intake is in january 2023. My plan is to spend my christmas here in the Philippines with my family and will travel on the 27th of december. Will you advice me to go much earlier or 1 week is enough to take care all my school stuff such as orientation etc and my SSN, opening my bank accounts etc? Thank you. Hoping to hear from you

All the school stuff can be figured out later on. But, your accommodation is the most important thing that may require more time. So, if you have accommodation lined up, it is probably better to spend time with your family for Christmas.

Hey Roy! I’m 28 years old and no longer studying! I started studies when I was 23 in Canada and took a certificate program in Graphic Design (I had an engineering degree back in PH) Back then it was easier to pursue an area of study different from your education background but it seems harder to convince IRCC nowadays huhu! Has to show some sort of career or education progression… All the best and I hope you and your GF are reunited soon 💕😊🙏
