Kota Kinabalu is a beautiful place! We've spent the last few days exploring the city and everything it has to offer. In this vlog, we go on an island hopping tour to Manukan and Sapi island just of the coast of KK and finish off the day at Tanjung Aru beach.

I've been to Mamutik Island 10 years ago.. at one point, a Komodo dragon literally came out of the water and "ran" in between the trees .. I'll never forget that day - I was just swimming next to that spot minutes before :) Beautiful Kota Kinabalu!

I was on Mamutik Island last week, and there was also a komodo dragon crawling past us. People were surprised, but it didn't seem like it was going to attack us.

Glad you enjoyed it. But I noticed many tourists who visit Borneo just visit the natural wonders, which is good, however few actually explore native life, like actually staying with the indigenous people, experiencing their weddings, funerals, parties, fishing, hunting and farming.

Most of southeast asia countries have the best beaches...thailand, vietnam, indonesia, Malaysia (both peninsular&borneo) and philippines

Very good. Thank You. I have a question: As a European, without a visa in Malaysia I can spend 90 days, but in Sabah (also Malaysia!) Only 30 ?? Is that correct?

West Malaysia and east Malaysia.. East Malaysia is sabah
