yes! egypt has so much to offer... and just like everywhere else in the world, there will be the scams, the thefts, etc. we definitely try to be grateful for the fact that we have the means to travel so whatever comes our way whether "good" or "bad", we check ourselves haha. thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts! safe travels

Great informative videos! Just to clarify the staff asked for 300 Egyptian pounds extra (per person) to visit a 4th tomb when the price for a 2nd full entrance ticket, which should allow 3 more tomb visits, was 240 Egyptian pounds per person? Was the price given by your guide or by the Valley of King staff? Your video really helps me to prepare what to expect when I go early next year. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work!

Hi! Sorry for the delayed response! Thanks for watching and, yes, 300 EGP extra PER PERSON to see King Tut's tomb + the base entrance fee of 240 EGP PER PERSON for just 3 tombs. If you want to visit more tombs on top of King Tut, and the initial 3 tombs, there's also a separate costs for those. I believe the prices have gone up since our visit (last November 2022). These prices were displayed on the Valley of the Kings admission booth when you get there. Thanks for your kind words! We glad we can help you in your research. Super excited for your trip! I stayed at the Hilton in Luxor about 6 weeks ago. They are wonderful. The staff is so kind and so helpful, and they had great restaurants. I wish we could have stayed in Luxor longer because there is so much to see.

Hi Tiffany, thanks for watching and for your question. The entrance fee was separate from the tour package (private driver and tour guide) so we paid about $110 total. It was less than a half day tour so no meals or snacks were provided. Hope this helps! Safe travels

Thanks for watching, Leanne. We're so excited for your family to go to Egypt! For airport shuttles, check with the hotels you're staying at if they offer any private or shared shuttle. I would HIGHLY recommend Touritos as transportation and tour companies - touritos.com/activities/ ^ they might offer general transportation as well. We used them for our Siwa Oasis tour from Cairo, and they are the best! Other reputable tour companies - nasco tours - www.nasco-tours.com/ Hope this helps! Safe travels

Learn how to ignore people before you go because you’ll need to in order to avoid having your time wasted by scammers. Get some black sunglasses and earphones that cover your entire ear. When the scammers start talking to you, just keep walking as if they don’t exist, don’t even look at them at all or say No Thank You, just ignore them. This is the best advice I can give you.

Love your video, you learn the more and more times you go, I stayed in 50 dollar room right in front of the Pyramids, every day almost, then made friends with a worker at the restaurant and stayed with him and his family, don't stay in those high price motels, or fancy restaurants, go out of the tourist areas, much better. The nile cruises are great if you find the right one, Be safe my friends

Thank you for the information. It is so difficult to find aNile cruise operator, from UK and very hideously expensive, and you get there and don’t get the transfer or whatever. So I would rather go to Luxor and book from there. Is Nasco tours based in Luxor please?

Hi @@brazilbiba6671 ! sorry for the delayed response. Nasco Tours is based in Egypt, not sure if they are specifically in Luxor but I've seen their tour packages for different parts of Egypt. Check out iEgypt as well - we didnt use them but I heard they can customize itineraries for you. Hope this helps and you find the right tour operator!

Hi! Thanks for watching. When we went, we had to show our vax card at check in but I think it’s changed, and you don’t need to show proof. but you may need to sign a health declaration form depending on the airlines.Hope this helps. Safe travels!

Most of your time in Egypt will be ducking and dodging scammers, touts, camel are horse ride owners, and taxis! 😂😂😂 Only thing missing from your meal is the extra flies you normally get with them in Egypt! 😂😂😂 Glad you had a great time!
