Does taiwan consider itself Chinese? It was the successer if the qing dynasty, and it was known as the Republic of China But after WW2, the ROC fled to Taiwan due to the civil war with the communists. The ROC was more traditional, while the communist regime destroyed anything related to traditional China, and even changed its language.

You should visit my grandma’s house she sells Skylantern She was the first lantern store in the 1990s it’s still open today name grandma’s Skylantern at Shifen old street please go visit it I recently just go back to the US because first I was born there second because my father was abusive please just visit my grandmas shop once😢❤

highly-suggest to spend only 1-2 days in Taipei and explore the rest of island, from Taichung to Kaoshiung

Taichung and Kaohsiung are no different from Taipei. If you want to be a travel snob, at least suggest actual different places like in the east coast

just got here and to whoevwr will go to jiufen make sure, make sure, make sure that you would go on a weekday (not friday, saturday or sunday).
