Thank you- what are reasons to wait x-days between surgeries such as a endo/colo-scopy? Also reasons to wait x-days between Orthopedic reconstructive procedures?

I have had a herniated disk at L4-L-5 and stenosis for the past 2 years. PT and 2 cortisone have eased, but not eliminated, the pain. Before considering surgery, should I try acupuncture and/or chiropractic?
