Great tips! Can I please ask about filling up the water bottles - you said you can fill them (is this filtered water or tap water?) is the water safe to drink? Of course I do use my bottle in australia but when I’m in Malaysia I drink only plastic bottled water or glass bottle filtered water from the hotels as once I did get dysentery and it ruined a whole holiday as you can imagine.

I say, take what you can carry. Once you get a house, then you can go shopping for more in Bali! Hope that helps.

Being a male is a lot easier when packing , your favourite boardies and Singlets thongs ( flip flops ) that's it you can buy everything else there , I don't shave so no razor haa , bring your own deodorant and sun screen , Bali doesn't have a good brand, One bag and I'm done , just sayin,
