Go out to the taxi stand - you’ll get a 2 part ticket (receipt) with your destination printed on both. Your driver will get 1 receipt. You’ll get the other. Get in the taxi and go. Super easy.

Obviously I saw and learned things that you wouldn't if you stay in a resort in canggu.But then that's your choice. I cannot overstate how much that trip meant to me and how it changed me. Bali is an amazing and most importantly for the locals a SACRED place. So of course if you put in the effort, your mind will be blown. Learning a bit of indonesian and some balinese words really helps, too!
