I thought it would be helpful to do a video about what to pack for all the people who will be coming to Korea soon.
One thing that I forgot to talk about is makeup. I advise that people buy makeup in their home countries because it might be very difficult to find a correct shade.

If you love cooking; bring chicken and beef stock from home. If you love aromat, bring that. Bring that Six Gun spice 😂 and Rajah curry powder. Bring your favourite SAn snacks. I didn’t like Cheese Curls back home but time to time I find myself crazing them. You can also lokela my 1KG of samp.

I’ve been watching a lot of your videos recently and I’m planning to teach English in South Korea in the next 4 years as soon as I complete my bachelors. the virgo in me wants to plan EARLY and I wanted to know if you recommend packing an international adapter for charging devices like my iPhone/iPad etc or if it’s already supplied nearby when I land in the country. thanks! I only needed an adapter for my laptop since I had the South African three pin plug. I don’t think you should stress about that right now; you have four more years. Things can change a lot in 4 years

Are you learning the language ? Did you start learning the langauage before going to Korea ? if so what apps/sites/methods did you use?

Not really, I watch a lot of Kdramas so the little Korean I knew was from them. But I feel like I have learned so much ever since I got here. I can even order coffee in Korean😂. But I did learn Hangul (alphabet) in South Africa and I used KZfaq. I used Seemile Korean and also look into Talk to Me in Korean (they have a website and are also on KZfaq) they are amazing!

Yes I do, but don’t bring too much. Bring like a one month’s supply. You will be able to find hair products here.

I joined a WhatsApp group for teachers who were moving to Korea, I spoke to some teachers who were placed in my province. The EPIK Orientation is also a great place to make friends.

Yes, Coupang. There’s a website; use Chrome when you go onto the website because it’s all in Korean so Chrome will automatically translate it to English. You need a Korean number and bank account to buy things from there though.
