As mentioned most experienced campers has a their personal favourite items to add. But I think this is a good list to start off with.

There are definitely some stuff that I will pack in like extension lead, broom & skopie, wind skerm, medical kit. But good advise that you are giving

Hello. What type of ground sheets would you recommend? Tarp or netting?

Hi. We use netting. It allows the sand etc to fall through and is easier on the grass underneath. Mist often we do not use any ground sheets. We used to gave grass mats infront of the door, but the ground squirrels in the Kgalagadi bit holes in it!!! Happy camping
