I met a guy that I work with and we talk all of the time. we have those conversations that kinda never end, we just eventually fall asleep (of we're texting) or stop because we have to part ways and that's how it ends. Not to mention, we have A LOT in common. We enjoy the same things, and have similar views on things as well so we get along quite nicely. On our days off we actually spend the entire day together. We'll make plans ahead of time, and then when the day comes around 12pm or 1pm we will get together and hang out until 12am and sometimes 1am the next morning. He's super nice and actually listens when I talk whether it's something stupid or personal, and he opens up to me a lot as well. he actually asks me things about my life and my family as well, trying to get to know me better I guess. I'm just confused as to whether or not he's just being a good friend, or if he's into me. 😅

I used to do this a lot with my crush and he always sent me warnings saying 'Stop writing an entire novel/book' but he didn't warn me in a harsh way lol. I just told him to feel free to give me a little warning if I go overboard with something. So definitely don't text him too much

This is excellent advice. As a guy, I have never once had a girl text me anything even remotely like this. If a girl showed genuine interest and asked thoughtful questions (such as the ones you proposed), I would immediately be inclined to want to get to know her better.

I'd like to point out as a guy, most of us dont really give a crap if you text us too much unless we dont like you. Usually we just scroll to the bottom of your essay and respond to the last 12 or so words lol Actually we've come to expect a girl to text us too much as a sign they like us, so I've noticed the more apparent problem is when they text too little and we assume you're not that interested and we move on. I urge you not to play the texting "waiting game" where you read the text and set a timer before you can respond, 1) that's extra, 2) it attracts clingers and players.
