What Up Dough Pizza in Burbank's Magnolia Park is a new pizzeria specializing in Roman, Detroit, and New York Style pizzas. Lets see how their NY style measures up by giving them the 2 Slice Challenge. I review their cheese slice and pepperoni slice for how close they come to authentic NY pizza. Burbank is one of the few cities that are still safe in L.A.. I'll have to try it.

I tried Secret Pizza back when he was still working out of his apartment. 👍 The review is up on the channel. But I definitely want to go back now that he has a pizzeria and SLICES!!! Unfortunately for me, they are closed on my days off. 😠🍕🍕

Seems odd. You were fairly complementary to the pizza but only gave it a 3.5 generally anything below a 4 means no go.

What is the point of having 5 stars if anything below a 4 is a no go? There are too many decent NY pizza joints out here now, and that wouldn't leave enough stars to compare them by. In my grading system, 3.5 is a good score, solid NY style. But comparatively speaking not quite as good as some other pizzerias I've tried. And I usually don't give scores higher than 4.5 (I did once, but technically it was a 4.5) for the same reasons Portnoy doesn't give 10s. I have been tempted a couple times though....🍕🍕
