Me too. I am italian. I've seen Platini, Rummenigge, Matheus, Baggio, Totti, Van Basten, Ibrahimovic, Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo Fenomeno, Ronaldinho and many others more. Never seen anybody like Maradona, not even close to him. His ball control was out of this world, he was an "alien"

Maradona is the GOAT. The pitches back in the day the tackles they could make n still destroyin everybody. No one comes close

Diego brings more to a team than anyone else. His imagination and execution on the pitch was phenomenal. Fact he was doing it in training shows the depth of his abilities. Messi needs to wait for things to happen, Diego makes things happen. Messi is a great player, Diego makes those around him greater. Messi needs a great team with him, Diego makes the team great.

I absolutely agree with every word. Plus, I would like to add, Peter, the Charisma of Diego, not even closely comparable, while Diego was looking every single men on the pitch right in his eyes, either to dare the opponents or to encourage his teammates the impression form outside is that Leo has been always avoiding looks and stares from everybody..such a disappointment since I have been a huge Messi supporter from day one back in the early years 2004-5-6..unfortunately even us from home can actually feel his mental weakness..honestly people, think about it, if even 50% of us place CR7 in front/on top of Messi it means that he will always loose the debate against strong charismatic players like Maradona and CR7🤷🏻‍♂️

Diego went to Napoli a small team and made them not only relevant but also Champion Without WC players Messi & CR would never and therefore is Diego the Greatest…. What a Joy it was to watch him play Thanks Diego ❤
