I remember when schools started making children not talk during lunch due to unaliving. I never understood who is dumb enough to get rid of one of the things that stop unaliving. Communication. 🤦‍♀️

My HS made it weird. For both unalive, $exual assult, and domestic abuse awareness, random students would be walking around with duct tape on their mouths. This was supposed to symbolize that victims dont have a voice or something like that. It was just confusing because no one announced that it was going to happen and those participating wouldn't tell you what it meant. It just happened one day, so it was creepy as hell.

Not an “incident,” but it happened lol. In middle school I was very disabled; rocky attendance & always in a wheelchair. About every other day I couldn’t even go. But, unbeknownst to all my classmates, I *am* capable of walking short distances. So on the very last day, since it was a half day which mostly happened indoors with plenty of places to sit, I went without my wheelchair. I walked into that classroom, and I still remember the (positive) uproar from my surrounding class ❤

"For me, there was a mean police officer who hated bad words; he was this big officer. and one time at the school cafeteria. There was a group of kids cursing, and then the police called them and shouted for them to watch their mouths. The kid listens, and later they drop another bomb, so the cop goes mad and walks up to one of the kids and grabs him by the hoodie, dragging him, so the kid screams, "DON'T F* TOUCH ME," and the police grab his neck and slam him on the table, choking him. Everyone at the cafeteria saw it and stood up from the chair to record that I was just standing there, traumatized and shocked. The kid was probably more traumatized then. His friend came to help and screamed "HE A KID" and tried pushing the cops away, and the staff came and let go of the officer's grip and took the kid into the police office and the nurse. The office was not there the next day. I guess he was fired; the kid was gone for a week and came back. It was a pretty sad story.

The story with the girl killing herself actually made me remember my high-school's incidents. During autumn some years ago, I was in my first year of HS, I arrived early at an exam and saw that the WHOLE school was awfully quiet. I asked a friend what was happening and he told me "(third year) killed himself last night". The next week was hell. No one talked in the corridors. We did a minute of silence with the parents of the student, and they broke down crying. I went to the funeral, didn't even know the guy but I cried anyway, it was so heavy. This student's friends didn't understand why he did that. He was the joyful, clever, popular guy, you would never expect him to do this. So the school made some sensibilization and offered free psychological help. Two months later, I was going back home from the dentist and walked in front of the school. Firefighters and an ambulance were there. Turned out a first year student, in the middle of an exam, threw his stuff on the floor, opened the window, escalated the builiding and stood on the edge of the roof, ready to jump. The teacher rushed to the office and help arrived in time. They took care of the student, he is better now. And then June arrived, this time I was in Slovakia with other students for a school trip, and we learned that the best friend of the third year guy who commited suicide killed himself too. So, two suicides and an attempt during my first year, that was wild. Then during my last year, our class delegate who was also the cheerful and clever type, suddendly stopped coming to school for two weeks after christmas holydays. She was actually in a psychiatric hospital because she was about to kill herself. She came back, caught up the classes, and one day came with a bandage on her arm, that she tried not to move. Said it was a kitchen incident and laughed about it. Then she got hospitalized again (for one and a half month this time, same reasons), and she was absolutely exhausted in class once she was back. Still smiling, but almost couldn't stand up. She laughed it off again. The doctors actually gave her too much pills. She had to split her last year in half and only went to three finals -- that she aced, wtf. On a lighter note, also last year of high school, a guy was eating his breakfast during the first class, kind of "fought" with his friend and threw his peeled banana at him. It landed right in front of the teacher. Teach laughed and said, "Sorry, but I have to punish you for that". They had to write a whole dissertation without using the letter "r" (it's in France, so it's freaking hard)

@@mariequelquechose387 it might not be the school itself but things happening behind the scenes. i actually understand why they would do it, alot of people actually hide their depression pretty damn well behind a facade of happiness and health so that way nobody worries about them. not only that, but it may be their only source of comfort if they enjoy bringing joy to others (Like me!). it could be family stuff, abuse, friendships, or just in general getting fucked over by life. who knows, we cant really judge a book by its cover. though, it could also just be they were stressed out by school and they werent being heard or seen when they tried speaking about it. (Also, someone can still be depressed or stressed while laughing and seemingly happy. I have depression and generalized anxiety and i still laugh and have good times with friends despite being in a bad mood.) hope this might explain why they did it a bit more. while i cant say exactly the reason, i can definitely give suggestions that would broaden the view and make things more obvious.

Mine was one that became known on international news… some girl got her scholarship taken away because of a video at a party where some girl that wasn’t her was “twerking”… at an after party, after homecoming, and on private grounds. And there was no one twerking in the video either. And the principal got mad at her and took her scholarship away, along with other things. He ended up facing backlash for it, and ended up probably quitting after receiving death threats, and making staff and teachers and teachers’ children also receive death threats… so yeah. And this is a public high school, that’s also strict and unethical.

It was a LEGEND of BUSES. (It was a LEGEND of SCHOOL.) This is the legend of TOTALED BUS For millenia, BUSES and HILLS have lived in balance, bringing peace to PARKING LOTS. But if this harmony were to shatter... A terrible calamity would occur. The hill will run black with oil and the bus will crack with force. Then, her heart pounding... The ENGINE will draw her final breath. Only then, shining with hope... Three HEROES appear at HILLS' edge. A BUS DRIVER, a REPAIRMAN, and a KID FROM THE BACK. Only they can fix the bus and banish the TOTALLED BUS. Only then will balance be restored, and the BUS saved from destruction.

The incident at my school involved me actually. This was about 10 years ago now in middle school, where my dad (a service member) recently passed away from a non service related incident, just a random heart attack and nothing could have been done. That was over the summer so coming back to school that fall I was quite a bit more distant, though still maintained some of my close friends. Not sure how but about a month in, word gets around as to why I was being distant, to which most of the people in my age range that knew me came around to give condolences and all, and it was nice to talk to people again. However, there was one kid, new to the school as of that year, who heard he was a service member and came up to me about it, with the following exchange happening after a PE class in the locker room. Kid: “Hey, I heard your dad died, was he a Marine? Me: “Yeah, gonna be go see him (his grave) over the break next week in Arlington.” K: “Really? Where is that, I want to go spit on that pig’s grave.” For a little context, the rest of the 12 or so people in the locker room immediately tensed up, knowing that wouldn’t be taken lightly. To this day I have no idea why he said that or what moved him to do so, parental political influences, personal experience, no clue. I turn around to face him and say: “You want to what?” K: “Yeah, spit on his grave and maybe take a crap on it while I’m there. Serves that murderer right to be dead.” It was at this point I start a fight, landing the first hit to the side of his head and knocking him into a wall. I then jump on him and need to be dragged off by a couple of my classmates as they separate us. I ended up with a few broken bones in my hand and he had to get several stitches along his head. In hindsight, was this behavior acceptable? Not at all, and I was suspended for two weeks accordingly. However, there’s still a small part of me that’s almost glad I did it, as weird as it is to say. This incident got me into MMA, which has become a great outlet for my personal stresses and woes, though I am a bit sorry he had to have gotten a tad bloodied for it. The school instituted a couple new rules, firstly was a time limit to be in and out of the locker room after PE before a teacher would come in, and next there were increased on sight first aid kits and all staff had to be trained for even more emergency scenarios. I moved away the next year, though I never saw that kid again beyond once or twice in the hallway before that winter break, probably an effort by the staff.

It was my senior year of high school and mine had a pretty big drug problem and I was walking back from visiting the nurse or the bathroom or something (this was back in 06 so a while ago!) and the halls were empty. Suddenly this kid comes blasting out of the cafeteria, nearly running me down and is booking it down the hall toward the exit. Two security guards come out and stop and one's a little heavyset and looks toward the other guy and goes 'Why aren't you going after him?' And I kid you not, the man goes 'I'm giving him a head start.' And I'm standing there taking it in at this point 'cause there was NO WAY I was going to miss out on this. So the dude takes off after the kid who is nearly at the exit and it was like a cheetah on an antelope. Dude took this kid down without ANY effort after a HUGE head start. The security guard sees me as the only witness and goes 'He used to run track for this school when HE went here. Back to class now.' And off I went back to class, but DAMN if it wasn't the coolest thing I'd ever seen go down that year. Or any other year of HS for me.

At my school there was a tradition that the graduating class creates a "school newspaper" for everyone to buy, with profiles of all the students and funny anecdotes. Things like epic jokes that made the whole class crack up, a diagram who used to have something going on with whom and so on. The scandal was one page in it that was designed like a funeral pyre which had the names of all those who had dropped out or otherwise failed to graduate. I'm not sure how anyone thought that would be a good idea. The other scandal that i remember was about some mild sexual innuendo in the theme of the prom party. Something like, "Gradugasm! 13 years until the climax!"

I'm schizophrenic. In my 22 years of life, I once had an incident where I broke down to the point I couldn't control it. That was when my family and I decided that we couldn't ignore my mental health anymore and I got diagnosed with psychosis. We got a straitjacket (I consented to it) and I took antipsychotics for the first time. Was like a week of that but my sister and future husband did have to use the segufix. After that I had a few (more minor) breaks while pregnant. Seems alcohol keeps me sane funnily enough. I realise I might have more incidents like I did that summer in the future and I might end up in a psychiatric hospital some day.

Now, cut to me, who was still on the bus because the bus drver is always late. One kid heard the announcement and instead of running away, the teachers let us in the school. Suddenly the announcements came on and said the lockdown was over, and to GO BACK TO CLASS. I left anyway but the guy didnt have a weapon. Also apparently he brought a backpack full of apples. No idea why, but he also said he wanted us to “meet jesus.” That was probably what caused the lockdown, and the day before, one of my teachers had a seizure, so that was a crazy week. The school never addressed any of the things that week

In my high school our incident was the probability and statistics teacher being a pedo and having groomed and manipulated the same male student since middle school (the high school previously was a middle school, student in question was in 11th at the time). Guy was kinda suspected to be a creep though, always getting really up close to the girls in class and one time when he came back from vacation somewhere in South America people found him trying to cover up hickeys on his neck. He also apparently got fired from an elementary school for something similar, but wasn't charged. Since the high school was kinda new they didn't do a lot of good background checks.

Back in the 80’s, when I was in 7th grade, I had split group classes where we would have some 6th graders in with us in some classes, and 8th graders with us in others. My good friend, Michelle Norris (grade 8) was in several classes with me. I also had one class with her little brother, Eddie, who was in the grade below me. He was a royal pain in the ass, but he was funny af. Always pulling pranks on the teachers. Michelle was the serious one. Extremely smart and talented. So caring of others. She was also on the school newspaper, and frequently contributed poetry, which she’d publish. Eddie and Michelle lived just across the street from the school and were usually one of the first ones to home room. Well, one day, neither of them showed up to class, and it was immediately worrisome, because they NEVER missed school… ever. Then we all got called to the gymnasium for an impromptu school body meeting. Eddie and Michelle had been murdered. Not just murdered… they had been *ABSOLUTELY SLAUGHTERED*. Their poor mom, an RN who worked the graveyard shift at the local hospital, came home from work and found blood all over her house, but couldn’t find her kids. She eventually went into the second bathroom and their bodies were piled on top of one another in the bathtub. They were stabbed about 75-80 times each. They initially thought mom’s boyfriend did it, as he and Michelle couldn’t STAND each other. Eventually they found out it was the mentally ill man who lived a few houses down from them. He had apparently seen Eddie riding his bike up and down the road the night before, and he had been hearing voices telling him he had to kill someone, and then he saw him on the bike. So he walked right into the house and killed them both. The week after their murders, the school newspaper came out, and on the front page was a spread dedicated to Michelle and Eddie. She had published a poem just before she died that still haunts me to this very day, and I will share it with you: A Day Will Come A day will come When all will end No right, no wrong No foe, no friend The end for most The beginning for some Some wish it, some dread it A day will come I have often wondered if she had one of those ‘gut feelings’ about what was going to happen to her, after I read that poem. She’d frequently say she was concerned about x, y, or z and then that thing, or something similar would happen. It absolutely floored me when I read that piece she published in the school newspaper. It changed the city we lived in (St. Petersburg, Florida) forever. The local police were saying it was one of the most horrific crime scenes they’d ever seen. I just hate that my sweet friends went out like that… scared and trapped. But at least they had each other in their final moments. I miss them to this day. ♥️♥️

We were both in a couple of Lupus Support Groups, and she was so funny and sweet. I miss chatting with her and seeing videos of her two adorable daughters. There happened so many things in my school. Some girl trying to off herself during the first period, one of the students started a relationship with a teacher in training and another one started a relationship with a student as soon as the student finished school, like, on the same day (they're still together). And that's just for starters

I remember in 5th grade there was an incident where I was having problems with depression and I wrote my feelings on paper, the *nosy* reading teacher found it and told the principal. Then everyone knew about it and they we're acting like I was an alien to them or smth. I didn't like talking to people about my feelings and it was just torture to talk to a guidance counselor. It happened again in Middle school and it was way worse, I had to see an actual therapist. I never liked therapists or school, so it was torture. Again in 6th grade I had it with this one annoying group of girls and stabbed myself in the hand with a pencil (not deep). My friend saw me do it and told a teacher which was horrible. Everyone acted like I was the mentally sick kid from then on.

Man, I want adults to respect kids' privacy and not go through their things or spy on them. And if they accidentally read something and feel like they can't in good conscience ignore it, JUST TALK TO THE KID??? Privately, one-on-one. Maybe it's awkward and uncomfortable, but it respects the kid's privacy. Just let them know what you saw and tell them if they need someone to talk to they can talk to the teacher or guidance counselor. Hell, if the teacher doesn't feel qualified, they can just straight up tell the kid they concern and care and say they know they aren't qualified to be the one to talk to, but that the school has a guidance counselor and/or they can speak to the kid's parents about getting access to a psychologist. The kid may be like "100% NO NOPE NOT EVER" but at the very least they know someone gives a shit. And if they say no, respect that. Sometimes parents are abusive and if you bring up something like that to them, you can make the kid's life worse. Crossing boundaries after expressing concern and telling their business to other adults breaks trust, don't do it. Spreading someone's personal emotional business is not appropriate, and as you unfortunately experienced, can result in ostracization because other kids don't know how to be cool and apparently adults can't be discreet for sh!t. Getting treated like an alien or crazy/broken person can make things worse! Don't spread kids' business!

The big incident was a firebomb on the principal's desk. I've long moved away so I don't mind sharing. He had this giant old-fashioned hardwood desk like Amish people would make that was legit about 2" thick. Someone found a briefcase, thought it was a sub or teacher who left it, and stuck it on Mr. Roper's desk. Well, thankfully he wasn't in there when it went off as it took out the room. Also for anyone thinking thus an exaggeration: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Hills_High_School_(Benbrook,_Texas) We also had, not mentioned here: in my middle school a guy was arrested at the school steps with a bag of weapons he intended to use, a gang fight vs the baseball team, teachers who'd pass out drunk in class, the highest pregnancy rate in Texas (we all loved the annual announcement of :Students please do not bring your children to the Homecoming parade.".... I WISH I WERE JOKING HERE YALL, CHRIST ALMIGHTY), the class in the 80s named the "Eggs" who tried to burn down the school as a prank, kid got brained with a brick (he shouldve known not to use the bathroom, we all held it because of this), or my favorite the special needs student with the glass eye that few were aware of calling an African-American student we liked the N-word all day until Jerry smacked Scott so hard the eye flew out into a gaggle of girls who near pooped themselves all to our amusement.

I would say the big incident when I was attending school was the bomb threat. They found a briefcase outside the middle school and evacuated everyone to the elementary school. When the bomb squad was called they found out that the briefcase was empty and some high school seniors admitted to doing it as a senior prank. Really messed up thing to do, I don't know how they were punished but I can't imagine they were let off the hook.

There was a student at my high school that seemed to follow me wherever I went & was saying we were "friends," even though I barely knew her. She would inject herself in conversations I would have with my friends & never let anyone else speak. She was a bit annoying, I'll admit. One day, while on the bus ride back from tech school, I saw her sitting next to a 14 year old kid (she was 18 years old) & thought nothing of it until I heard them talking about wanting to date each other. I still thought nothing of it & assumed it was a joke. 5 days later & they're openly telling people they're in a romantic relationship. I reported this to the school's resource officer the next day & he told me he couldn't do anything about it because there was no evidence. Same thing happeend with the tech school's resource officer. I mentioned the cameras on the bus & they said they'd look into it. Fast forward to the end of the school year & I find out she was arrested for being a pedophile after talking admitting she wanted to date AN 8 YEAR OLD CHILD! When the school year ended, I found out the 14 year old lived close to me & we both talked about the whole situation. We're now good friends & he's a part of my friend group in the high school. We had two incidents, one was that a girl brought a bb gun into the school, this caused half the school to get cordoned off. The police came and searched lockers and they found it, a letter was sent out to parents. I should say I went to a British all girls school so someone bringing a gun, albeit a bb gun, was huge news and I'm sure people still remember it to this day Another one was that police came with sniffer dogs because there was apparently drugs hidden in lockers or something. I remember seeing the sniffer dogs come in, which again made half the school get cordoned off. I don't remember if they ever found anything though

I have 3. In 7th grade, we had a bomb threat. Some teenagers thought it would be funny to leave a homemade bomb at the school's front doors. The principal had us evacuate and cops were called. The kicker? They told us nothing. Kept us in the dark ALL DAY. The football field was barely a stone's throw from the school and that was our waiting spot. Not exactly safe if the bomb went off. This was also during Texas spring so it was hot as hell. Since we were there all day with no communication whatsoever, they served us peanut butter and bread because they didnt have enough condiments for everyone. We sat outside for basically the whole school day confused and bored out of our minds until the "threat" ended and our parents could pick us up. I was fortunate enough to go home, but my friend who's mom couldn't get her, told me that she was stuck there until basically 7pm for no other reason. The bomb turned out to be a dud. In 8th grade, i was staying after school to learn out a program for band. The spokesperson brought his personal laptop to show us videos. Our music teacher was trying to set up the video and she thought she clicked on the right one. She accidentally clicked on a pron video and me and 7 other kids watched in shock and horror of a guy licking another guy's private bits. The spokesperson scrambled to shut it off amd the first thing out his mouth was "Im SO fired." We got pulled aside the next day by the principal to get a lecture and told that if we need counciling, there are resources. What a day. This one is just sad. In 10th grade, my HS has a second floor and a few walkways connecting to some hallways. They werent that high, so you could jump off of it and be fine if you tuck and roll. The incident happened near the end of the day. My school had 8 periods and we were in 7th period when the principal came on the intercom stating that no students should be allowed to leave their current class. We were confused and thought it was an active shooter drill or something. Later the phone rang and my teacher looked grim for a moment before she started teaching again. Of course no one was paying attention because it was just weird. We didn't leave 7th period for the rest of the day. It took me a month to figure out what happened through another teacher of mine that was kind enough to spill the beans while still respecring the victim. It turned out that a student tried to unalive herself by jumping off one of the walkways. There were tvs hung up on them that displayed school news and such. She changed her mind mid fall and took one of the tvs out on the way down. This was near the front door and main offices so an ambulance was called and she was whisked away easily. She survived the fall badly bruised and had a concussion. She never came back to school after that and no ceremony or lecture followed. It was such a strange experience. To this day I still dont know who it was or if shes okay.

I think you overestimate the strength of a homemade bomb. Most bombs couldn’t kill you if they went off at the opposite end of you (the kill radius on a hand grenade is 15 yards), much less on the opposite side of a building more than 100 yards away

My school's "incident" was a bomb threat. I happened to be home sick that day, but my mom was a teacher and she didn't get home around the time she usually does, so I tried calling her and she wouldnt answer. A few hours of anxiety and fretting over becoming an orphan later, my mom comes home and casually tells me some guy with a bomb in his trailer got pulled over in front of our school (some high-value target the police had been after for awhile), and he was threatening to blow everything up then and there. Guy was arrested. Police set up a protective perimeter and blew up the trailer themselves in a controlled fashion. All my friends got to watch Star Wars in history teacher's office after school while the whole thing went down. No one got hurt. Happy endings for all. Except that travel trailer. Poor thing never asked for any of that lol

I never had any incidents other than one: imagine this, you are sitting, eating lunch in a small school room, and then you hear "FUCK YOU ALL " Across the room, enter me, fuming with rage, the entire time I was at the school I was bullied, harmed, and blamed for everything. When a teacher is called to help me, they do nothing, and it was like that from kindergarten. After years of being bullied and nobody doing anything, I snapped and started yelling at everyone on how horrible of a person they were. It all was over in a flash for me, but everyone else went right Back to eating when I got back. I quit that school the following year.

Here’s some incidents that happened at my school: In 9th grade, my bus broke down in the middle of the highway, and the police actually came up to us and everything. They… fixed it. Until it broke down in the middle of the road again. Yeah we got a new bus. My fifth grade teacher proposed to another 5th grade teacher. He made a massive heart of cones and when he blew the whistle for us to come inside, we lined up all around it and he proposed in the middle of it. Then they broke up. Rip their relationship. In 2nd grade, this highschool kid threatened to kill his friend, and they couldn’t find him, so they put everyone on lockdown and he actually walked around outside of the school. But he couldn’t open the door, so the police caught him. He intended for it to be a school shooting, but his friend was found alive, and he was sent to a mental hospital for about 3 days. I was a traumatized 2nd grader after that.

I remember that night so vividly, i was watching bob sponge (I was calm, as a said i thought she would be better in the hospital) my mom was using her phone, and then i asked her to use the phone to send julia a message, 10-15 minutes later my mom just looked in my eye, kinda of in disbelief, i don't know her stare was strange asf, and just said "Julia Died" and she hugged my cause i started to cry like a baby. my neighbor from the next door came to see what was happening, and man next day in class was horrible. she was 12 when she died today she would be 20.

Ok so back in secondary 3 (for all the non-canadians here, secondary school is high school and secondary 3 is when we're 14), the school forced some guy (who we're gonna call A) to talk to me because I had a lot of trouble socializing. I only learned that fact 2 years later, when he told me that he thought I was really annoying and just kept talking to me because he had pity on me. Anyways, A did not have a great home life. His parents were divorced, and his dad had a restraining order against A because he (the dad) used to punch A and stuff like that. I remember when his mom picked us up from band practice, he'd always argue with her over meaningless things and it would often devolve into lots of yelling (especially when his sister, whom A despised, was involved.) So anyways, this all translated into making A really shitty to me. He'd constantly insult me and make jokes at my expense at every occasion. He was closer to a bully than a friend, I'm gonna be honest. Oh also, he was fascinated by yahtzee Germany (you know what I mean) and you know… (idk what I’m allowed to say here) Point is, he was fascinated by this, and he ALWAYS made INCREDIBLY inappropriate jokes both in class and like… all the time. In secondary 5 I stopped talking to him. Apparently, he started joking with his friends about bringing a bomb to prom. Turns out that, after investigating his room, the police found actual ingredients to build a bomb in there. Idk what exactly but they were there. Anyways so the news spread, meanwhile I had no idea that this was related to A. I barely noticed he was gone, actually. (I don’t really notice that kind of stuff actually) But yeah, during one of our classes, the teacher received an email saying in big red bolded letters “DO NOT SHOW THIS EMAIL TO THE STUDENTS” (which was actually really funny but also it was the only text visible on screen, so we didn’t see anything else) In the email, there was a link to a video where the school principal said in the vaguest terms possible “There was a happening, but it’s resolved now. You don’t have to worry about it now.” To put things simply, it didn’t help at all. The people in my class wanted more information because well… A was a former student in OUR class so we deserved more information. We didn’t get much though. I haven’t seen him since. I hope he’s doing better. I really hope his dad still can’t see him. I also hope he stopped being shitty to people around him.

My grade 8 teacher was gone somewhere so one of the other grade 8 teachers (who was also my grade 5 teacher) was watching over us as we got ready to leave at the end of the day. My friend’s friend wanted to stand in between us in the line outside so I tried to move over so he can get in. The girl next to me didn’t want to move because she was stubborn so here’s how that played out. “Hey can you move back a bit?” “No” “Why not, there’s tons of space behind yo-“ She pushes me as hard as she can and I fall backwards. I was in so much shock that all I remember after that is her pushing me and suddenly the entire class is on the floor except for the girl who pushed me. This 6 foot 10 kid literally crashed on top of a bunch of short kids in the fall. The entire class literally layed there in a massive pile of bodies on the floor. The teacher proceeded to yell at us and tell us how immature we are for laying on the floor like 3 year olds as if she hadn’t just witnessed what had happened (she had seen it btw so she was just looking for something to complain about which she often did). It was kinda scary at the time but looking back, it makes me laugh to this day.

Well, I have some. Freshman year a group of kids planned a shooting, but one got high and paranoid and ratted everyone else out. This explains why one day police cars were in the parking lot as we were getting picked up by our parents, and years later, my brother and I talked about one girl and she was a girl I had a crush on in ceramics class who disappeared for at then reasons unknown to me. There was not a shooting but a gun scare. The week before and up to the incident there were two girls having a teen girl insult fight. One of them was either racist or thought it would be clever for tenuous reasons, and said that the Latina's family would be deported as Trump was running for president at the time. Latina caved the white girl's head in and got arrested, and given that the school was like 60% white 35% Latino (lowballing the Latino numbers), there was a big divide on who the students supported. Tensions rose (though mostly on social media) and eventually on Friday that week students decided that they would wear one of two colors to support the Latina or the white girl. School was having none of it and said people could only wear black, white or orange as thouse were the school's colors. Sidenote, I had friend named Emilio who generally didn't give a shit about anything and came to school that day in a monkey costume with an RC truck dragging a banana. Eventually, at recess, something happens and a kid is said to have a gun, and the school lets parents pick their kids up early. It was nothing but I didn't have a problem with it since it got me out of school at 10:00 am, and Spring Break was the next week so it was cool. Did end up missing my Spanish test so i had to make it up. I thought most of the kids that left were white, but my brother said a Latino student left and a white kid stayed, so it was either false or just not universally true. The kid that got in trouble was one of the three Black students and didn't have a gun, so my brother said it was racial profiling. This surprised me as the school had good numbers, but looking back, one section of the school was labelled as a different scholl in spite of being 6 or so rooms on the side of the football field reserved for juvenile delinquents and teen moms, so i think that might've fudged the numbers a bit.

They had to call Fire/Rescue, Air ambulance, mountain rescue .etc to get him out and to top it off the local news showed up and broadcast it live!

This was an incident in middle school, I'm in high school now. So in 8th grade this girl I knew from summer camp moved to my town and started going to school here. She's pretty nice but is really energetic and annoying. I guess she ended up pissing off the wrong people or she talked shit about someone behind their backs because nobody liked her. It got to the point where one day while she was walking home she got chased throughout town by a group of people. She's very athletic so she ended up out running them and she was pulled out of school for 2 weeks for her safety. Another instance I just remembered is that one time a white kid started harassing this group of people. 2 people in the group were black and there may have been a kid that was Mexican in there but I forgot. Anyways he ended up saying it one too many times and got absolutely pummeled by the kids, it took like 3 teachers to separate them. The dumb part is that the boy who started everything got a few days of in school suspension while the people who fought back got suspended and one got expelled

My incident feels a little mundane compared to others, but here goes. My Senior year, some kids went to the main entrances of the school with some cans of spray paint and graffitied a bunch of dicks on the front walkway into school. The administration was PISSED. They held repeated announcements demanding students with information come forward, they got the police involved, and I vaguely remember an impromptu assembly to basically shame the student body into giving up the vandals. A few weeks later, the cops arrested some students for the vandalism. They either found the paint cans or the students confessed. It was an open and shut case. The ironic part was that kids who were arrested didn’t go to our high school, they went to a different high school in the area. The administration never mentioned the arrests and never apologized to the student body for basically harassing us over a crime we didn’t commit. They never spoke of it again. For a bit of bonus irony, the school did have to bring people in to remove the graffiti. The workers basically wound up putting a thin layer of fresh cement or maybe some kind of paint over the graffiti. But whatever they were using didn’t quite match the tone of the concrete around it, and rather than cover the whole area, they only painted over the dicks. For rest of the year there were little lighter patches of concrete in the shape of dicks and it wasn’t hard to spot if you knew what to look for. I find some poetic justice in the fact that the school couldn’t quite cover up the embarrassing incident. It was on display every tine the administrators walked into the building.

In high school, we had this one girl who had untreated bipolar disorder and manic depression. I don't know the full story, but she set fire to trash cans in the stairwell in the library. Now for context, the stairwell did not have any trash cans in it, so she drug them over and up and down stairs to block the landings, and doorways. Obviously she was seen on camera, and after the fire department put out the fires she was detained and arrested. It WAS just going to be one count of public arson, but during the investigation police found journals in her locker detailing a plan to burn the building down and block exits to kill everyone inside So one count of arson became 2,400 counts of attempted murder - the estimated population of the building between students and facility. That was later dropped to around 7 counts, the number of people in the library at the time. I think it was settled down to just arson, because nobody was in any legitimate danger on account of multiple exits and her clearly being medically ill. She served some time for the arson, and eventually got the medical help she needed. I do not know what came of her after that.

An air rescue helicopter landed in are tennis courts to take her to hospital. In the end, she didn't get put in the helicopter, she was taken to the nearby hospital by ambulance, i think she's ok now.

Some girl came in drunk. Nothing too bad, she acted pretty normal, if a bit spaced out (I didn’t really speak to her). She was on the second floor balcony of our school and was just hanging out there at lunch, near to where we always hung out, after she had gotten in a fight at break. She got into another fight at Lunch, and almost got thrown off the balcony. There were 3 fights that day, 2 involving her, and this was a decent school, mind you. You’d have been lucky to see a fight once every few weeks, much less 3 in a day, much less what could have resulted in (at the time) 16 year old girl dying or getting seriously messed up from a fall

At my school the incident was in 8th grade(two years ago). At the beginning of the year I became friends with a girl who I’ll call actress. Actress was best friends with another girl who I’ll call spider(she acts like a bug so that’s why). Spider was a complete asshole, she hated me for being friends with actress, I heard her fat shaming people, she even physically abused actress(actress told me herself). Towards the end of the year everyone is coming back from recess and heading to class, I have class after recess with actress and spider. Spider is nowhere to be seen and our teacher calls the office to report her as being gone. Class goes on as normal but pretty much any one available was looking for her. I heard from some students that she got a call during recess and left halfway through lunch but no one could give a good answer since recess was after lunch. It later comes out that they found her underneath the stairs leading to an outer building of the school and she was high off of some medication. Not everyone knew about it but everyone in that one class knew. After she came back from a 2 week absence she was incredibly nice to me. She didn’t return for 9th grade but I hope Spider is doing better now.

In middle school when I was 7th grade, something went down to between two of the 8th graders on the same bus as me. What you need to know is that on the bus there was this one 8th grader who was nice but got bullied quite a by this girl, and tried to avoid her but usually he would follow him to where ever he was and start insulting and teasing him. So he went to where the highschoolers were further back in the bus for a bit of rest (the whole reason I know so much is that my sister got a clear view of it all) That Bully and I think her friend, decided to also follow him back and kept on bothering him and teasing him when all he wanted was to be left alone. Some of the highschoolers I think were backing him up and it was a mini argument of insults. It was mean, but the highschoolers thought they were able to escalate the situation into something a bit more playful so everyone including the middle school boy seemingly relaxed. No one could predict what she was about to do. I am not sure how the exact context but he like playfully tossed his metal water bottle to her. I think it was when things calmed down a bit. It was soft and she caught it. This for some reason really pissed her off and she hit him in the head with it, at full force. He screamed and the highschoolers told the bus driver to pull over. They stopped at a parking lot where the police, ambulance and disciplinary staff from the school (we were only like 5 blocks away) were called. We all watched as he was taken out of the bus and put into an ambulance. his face was covered in blood. The bully was talked to by disciplinary staff and police. She was only suspended as I saw her again a few months later in the middle school talent show. I know it is not that important to the story but she was not a very good singer. I never saw her in high school so either she was later expelled, arrested or just chose to leave.

Also a sillier story I just remembered I might as well tell. Is that at my elementary school when i was in 5th grade, four square got banned and then got mandatory rules added as some kids had a fit. Basically it started with me and a big group of friends used to play 4 square during recess and we liked adding in house rules where the king gets to decide how the game is played. We used plenty of well known plus plenty of homemdaee weirdness. Finding new ways to add to the game became a creative outlet and even led to full minigames being added within four square. It was a small group at first. But the rest of the class along with kids from other grades who had recess at the same time as us wanted in And they just did not like the constant shifting the rules finding it unfair (which addmitidily it kinda was but that made it more fun). A few just went back to other stuff or just made their own nearby 4 square games with their own rules allowing everyone to have fun. But a few students got angry started arguments, and complained to teachers, mostly the kids in other grades. As our grade for the most part other than a few annoying people were chill with us doing whatever. But these younger grades got angry and conflicts broke out in those classes with how is the right way to play. The school had to do something so they made a four square court. Which is great it was painted and we were so excited to use it, but before going out to recess everyone was forced to watch a video that explained the rules of four square and explained in no uncertain terms that we must play it this one specific way or we will get in trouble. We stopped playing four square not long after that and moved onto other things. Almost no one used that court. A year later (my elementary school had a 6th grade) we just went back to playing 4 square. We just called it a different name and no one cared anymore so we just got back to having fun.

I misread this at first, that is WILD that she felt comfortable to fully just physically assault someone. I'm proud of the highschoolers for doing what they could and trying to steer the energy towards playfulness to try to defuse the situation. Even though they couldn't force the bully to not be violent, they did set a good example for everyone else of defending someone (and nonviolently!). Weirdly, I wonder if she got enraged that she lost control of the situation? Since bullying seem to often be a power thing.

@@alexia3552 That's my theory as well. I also just remembered a detail that makes this whole thing even worse. He got suspended too because him throwing the water bottle was seen as him escalating it for some reason and I think that is also why she was not expelled right away. It was a very messed up decision. But my school was very messed up in many ways so I am not surprised.

The incident at my school was that this girl got stabbed in the neck by her ex. I'm pretty sure she and this other girl were dating, and the girl who got stabbed broke up her girlfriend, so the girlfriend got mad and brought a knife to school, then stabbed the other at lunch. The girl survived, thankfully, but she posted something along the lines of "If you're gonna try to kill me, do it right" after she recovered. The teachers literally forbade us from talking about it, so we all called it "The You-Know-What Incident". I think it's worth noting that almost none of the parents knew what actually happened. A lot of kids did get checked out, yes, but that was only because the kids told them. No notice was sent out by the school until after school was over. Which is stupid. Anyway, the class I was in at the time had a sub, and I haven't seen the sub since lol Update: Almost the EXACT same thing happened at another school this year, except the people were fighting over drugs. I can't deal with this right now.

Did not happen at school. A sophomore's father murdered his family. It was rumored that he got a concussion when he was a seaman, got jealous when his wife got a job and he on the other hand, was retired early. Another rumor is that he discovered his wife cheated on him or vice versa. Nevertheless, he shot his three children, his wife and their housekeeper. He spared his younger daughter-- undoubtedly his favorite child and told her to tell the police that he murdered his family. When the daughter left, he shot himself. I did not know the sophomore personally (I was about 12 y.o. when this happened) , but the news was known to everyone locally, even my dad knows. I remember the whole school administration was donating to her.

The big incident in my school was a trans kid being sent to the hospital from abuse, but my personal incident was I guess a couple of girls didn't like me, so they told everyone that I had made death threats. I'm the last person who would do that. But it turned out I was taken to the office, my bag was examined without my permission, my mother was called, I was completely humiliated, and I spent literally the rest of the day (even after normal school got out) in the office waiting for my mother to finish her school. There was a big meeting with a bunch of teachers, the principle, school counsellors, and my mother. I was mentally shaken for weeks after that and then everything that could go wrong in my life did. Me, the perfect student who never showed up late, never missed a class even when I found out my parents were divorcing, who tried to be kind to everyone and loved my teachers. Anything can happen.

Me and some girls were messing about in the cloakroom, (this was in Primary, some years back.) and there was a coat on the floor. We had cubbyholes and benches made of wood in the cloakroom, and metal pegs to hold your coats and bags up. Well, that day, when we were messing around, a girl was swinging from two cubbyholes, whilst stood on the bench, and she fell, and slipped on that one coat on the floor. Her ear was hung on the peg. She was sent home and rushed to the hospital. The next day, she had LITERAL STITCHES. Poor girl. Well, anyways, a new rule was made from that day forward; if you didn't hang your coat up, then there'd be a whole-class lecture on why you should hang your coat up, during *our* lunchtime. And they would always bring that one girl who fell to the front, and explain her story. Well, long story short, she left in year 4 or 5.

The two that come to mind for me are: A) In my elementary school, like in every school ever, we had cliques and in one of those cliques there was a guy called Martin. He was one of the cool kids. He wore trendy clothes, he said all the right things, he had all the cool things and everyone generally believed he was one of the popular kids who could do no wrong. Then one day, he doesn't come to school. That day becomes a week. Then two weeks. Then after that, the teachers grouped us all together and talked about how Martin had committed suicide in the bath tub through electrocution and how, if we were feeling depressed or had any dark thoughts, we shouldn't feel too ashamed to talk about it and seek out help from teachers or counselors. For the rest of that year, his loss was on all our minds and shook the foundation of our playground hierarchy for a while. It was bizarre. After that meeting, for like a week and a half or so, bullies stopped bullying and the usual buzz and ruckus of the playground was dulled to a mild humming. No one wanted to seem disrespectful. Ofcourse, eventually, things got back to normal and we moved on, but it was a topic that was brought up in hushed tones for the rest of that year. and B) This one is from my high school years. Everything was pretty normal for the first two years or so, but then a rumor began to circulate that one of the seniors had pushed a kid with a disability from a different school into a pond in the nearby park. The kid was fine, physically (t least from what I heard) and suffered no ill effects but the fact that he was disabled made everyone go on a witch hunt to find out the finer details and the dude who supposedly did it, who was kind of a big deal and a big time bully before this, had the entire school turn against him just like that. He went from being top dog to being kicked all the way down the social ladder to being worth less than even the most bullied kid. Mind you, we never found out if he actually did it or not or even if the rumor was true to the extent that we heard it, but the important thing is that everyone *believed* it was true and took it out on him. He was treated like trash for months and couldn't do anything about it, because he was fighting against overwhelming majority odds. He transferred out of the school a few months later due to the heavy amount of ostracisation he got. Never found out what happened to him or how much of the rumor was true. Some of it must have been true, because a major event like that doesn't just pop up out of thin air, but we never learned the finer details. Everything became a witch hunt supported by rumors that gradually got more and more exaggerated over time.

My school life was thankfully rather sane. A band kid called in a bomb threat because he wanted an extension on his assignment. The junior football coach was charged with murder. Finally the honors chem teacher had a breakdown following several years of students refusing to stop talking in class and snapped, throwing a glass beaker at a kid's head. It was college that was a little more interesting; every year for the five years I was there, a building in town blew up. These weren't attacks or anything, but one was a meth lab, another a gas leak, and the last one I know the reason for was an extreme backblast from a house fire which blew the roof off.

Okay at some point during high school, there was this kid I occasionally had classes with. He was pretty dang popular and was one of the many class clowns, Rebellious and stuff. He's actually quite a nice guy for the first couple of years of knowing him, but at some point he dialled up the crazy, openly sweared at teachers and frequent arguments, though he did still seem like a good guy. The wildest thing I remember is that in an ICT he went on... THE HUB on one the school computers. My man didn't even try to hide what he was looking at, somehow he didn't get expelled, honestly he did a lotta things that you'd think what get a guy expelled but nope. Also there was also the time he somehow played CS:GO or a ripoff on another school computer, don't know how he did that but he was pretty good NGL. He was certainly fun to talk to. I honestly miss him though he could be a dick at times.

Bruh, we used to go on the hub all the time in school, as early as 11 y/o probably (I know, we were f*cked up). Obviously we were told to turn it off but other than that no one cared. Although I must say the schools I've been to have been pretty lenient. My first highschool a friend of mine was caught high as balls off of weed (which he also smoked in the school bathroom), no punishment. My second high school (The principal went insane in the former so I switched, also this one was way closer) a kid was caught snorting drone IN THE HALLWAY (think it was a bet or smth), they got dragged around the principal's office and shit, got a curator (don't know if that's the proper english name, a surveillance man, basically) for a few months, but other than that they were fine, although they didn't become quite as popular as one might expect, hence my lack of knowledge on their gender. The bathrooms in that school are also just vape rooms with toilets, the teachers basically gave up on policing that since half the school would be punished. Also probably 1/4th of the students in my years showed up drunk at least once, and way more hungover. Fun times.

A couple of incidents here. First was in primary school. A couple of years before I started, the school was having a fete and had hired a bungee ride for it. The cords snapped, and a young girl and teacher both died from being flung from it. They planted twin memorial trees where they landed at the top of the road where I lived. Secondly, one of the girls in my year in secondary school literally gave birth during her GCSE history final exam. Kept putting off calling the ambulance until it was time for the baby to come as she wanted to finish her paper. She managed to get an A* on it after all that too. Both mother and baby were fine, and several years later she grew her family with the same man and they've been together around 15 years now. She even runs her own successful business.

So, back during middle school, everyone was friends with the assistant principal. He was a cool guy, nothing was wrong with him. We even had a joke going around the school saying he should run for president and we would vote for him. I'll admit, I kinda looked up to him since my dad was never really around and he knew that. So, the assistant principal came up to my friends and I on the last day of school saying, "Y'know, if you guys wanted to, I could let you guys in over summer break and you guys could have fun." (Our school is more of an outdoors campus than an inside one) So, of course, on a random day, my friends and I were bored and we went to the school. We ended up playing hide-and-seek for a while since there was really nothing else to do. Some time passes and I'm one of the people who has to hide. I snuck into the band room and there was a ladder that led up to the roof of the building. I didn't think anything of it and climbed up. I thought it was the best and coolest idea ever. A person who passed by however didn't think so. The person ended up calling the police and my friends and I were forced to leave. After that, the assistant principal got fired and got a new job elsewhere. The whole school knows about it, not that it's embarrassing or whatever, it's more of a cool story. I'm just happy because the assistant principal still visits my old middle school. He's kinda like a celebrity there now lol.

Incidents at my school. So important background info, i go to a special type of school where we do normal course but also (not sure what it’s in English) trade specific course in machine building with specialization in either automisation/electronic, long story short we have heavy machinery and high voltage. So I wasn’t actually there when the incident happened, it like 4 years before I enrolled. But on pretty much the first day of workshop classes our teacher told us a story of a student who was cut by the sharp byproduct from the metal he was working on so bad that he had to be hospitalized. As far as I’ve heard the student has actually lost ~40 percent of his motor function in his right arm. Another one actually did happen during my school year, intact to one of my classmates, a bit foggy on the details but essentially he came into contact with a 200V/5A circuit (500 mA can be lethal btw), but luckily he wasn’t that stupid and actually followed (most) safety procedures (isolation, proper setup and settings, safety fuses, etc) so he was fine but he still did get a burn mark and a mighty shock.

There are a couple of stories from my school 1) My old school is one of the newer ones in our city. The founder/principal, who got the funding from the government to build the school (a free school by the way) ended up in jail for 5 years. Turns out a lot of the money that the department of education had granted him for the school hand ended up in his own bank account as well as two of his relatives, and this had gone on for just over 3 years. Not only that, but he hired his wife, sister and dad, and was paying them more than the other staff. His defence in the hearing was that he needed the money to pay off his mortgages. He had multiple houses that he had put up for rent but was incurring losses rather than profit, and ended up in a lot of debt. The only reason he wanted to found a school was to commit fraud/embezzlement. Even the prime minister at the time had visited the new school and praised it lol (although tbf he is the one who had endorsed it). So yeah, a year after the new school had been opened, the founder and two others were arrested. The school took a couple of years to recover after, which was not helped at all by The Incident 2. 2) The second incident happened during my first year there, which also happened to be a year and a bit after the first incident, as well as only being the third year the school had been open for. There was a boy, who was 13-14 at the time, who really disliked a cover teacher. One, because the boy was a racist, and two, because the teacher would tell him off for the time. The teacher didn't pick on him or anything, the kid was just a trouble maker. Anyway, one day he told a couple of his friends that he wanted to stab the cover teacher, but his friends thought he was joking (can you tell what country this happened in?) so did not report this to anyone. He was not, in fact, joking. One day the teacher was telling to put his phone away, so the kid called him a racial slur, stabbed the teacher in the stomach, and fled the scene. Then, after he got some distance away, BRAGGED about it on facebook. The whole school was on lock down until the police could ensure he was gone, get all the information, get the teacher to hospital etc. This happened first thing in the morning too. That day I ended up being late to school and was so confused when I saw the side street full of police cars. When I got in, I had to be escorted everywhere and no one would explain anything, although I was only 12 at the time and it was obviously a safeguarding issue. They did find him later that day, and the teacher is fine - he said he forgives the boy. The kid was charged and given an extended sentence. A little side note, apparently the stabber really disliked one of my cousins. My cousin was shocked when he saw the story on the news. The same thing could have very well happened to him. 3) Not sure if this one was real or just a rumour, but I think in my second year, the chef got fired. Apparently he was caught masturbating in the school toilet by a kid. Like I said, I don't know if this one is real or not, and I don't know if the current students know about this one. Didn't make the news so it was most likely just a rumour. But still, knowing we ate food prepared by that guy was definitely stomach churning. Anyway, the school really turned itself around. The year I finished, it was the best school in the city. I got amazing grades, as did majority of the other students. Currently, it's ranked third best.

Back in HS some years ago, the umm..let’s say school bicycle got caught in the field house being gb’d by the whole wrestling team. But because they were expected to take the state championship that year, it was quietly swept under the rug. They got “in school suspension for smoking cigarettes on school grounds” (none of them were known smokers) and the girl got sent to an alternative school for “flashing” other students since it was her third major strike. I realized then that successful athletes can practically get away with anything.

I'll try to make this as short as I can. My grade 10 year, there was a new student in grade 11. Super tall. Like 6'9, according to the reports after freakin size 15 shoes. BIG guy. 17 he was enrolled as. Had a locker about 10 away from mine. Obviously ends up on the basket ball team right? Didn't really question it. We have a lot of students from out of the country who are older, usually max like 24 or 25 who will still be in our school and honestly some of the sweetest people. So this guy fit in aside from his insane height, we didn't know his age at the time. THIS GUY WAS 29. He was arrested by the border officials. He was living with the head coach (amazing man but DUDE come ON) through a program for immigrant students. I was shocked when I first found out. He lasted 6 months before he was arrested. Honestly I feel bad for him. He was really just coming to school and playing basket ball. But the fact still stands... 13 year olds with an almost 30 year old is really better safe than sorry I hope everything worked out for him tbh. He came from a war ridden home, for a better life, in hopes of getting an education and was able to find something he loved here. Just really didn't go about it the right way.

When I was in elementary school, there was a rumor that some kids in my CLASS WERE VAPING IN THE BATHROOMS!!!!! At first it seemed like a big fat lie, but then all those kids were suspended for 2 weeks! I started to believe it was actually true because 2 of the kids "supposedly left the school because they moved to another city" but for years after I have saw both of those kids in the same area. 1 of them even came to my grad later that year!😮 one of the kids who stayed ended up getting suspended a couple more times that year! And if I'm not mistaken 1 of those was vaping again! It was a very crazy year for me!

The incidents on my school happened long after I graduate but it was my younger brother who witnessed all three incidents which all happened in the span of *under 2 months* 1. Teacher A was caught giving a flower to his student (note: it is a middle school) by teacher C, and reported it to teacher B who suggested having teach A fired, and he did. 2. Teacher B was caught s3xually harassing a female student by the foundation president of the school. The thing is, many students already knew he did that to some female students but no one dared to report him bcs he's the "principal's favourite teacher", and also had took care of the student council for many years. If it weren't for the foundation president and a student's parent catching him, he would've never gotten fired 3. Turns out that teacher B (male) had an affair with teacher D (female), and got busted by teach B's wife who then exposed his behaviour *through his social media account*. Funnily enough my brother actually screenshotted all her uploads and sent it to me. This happened a short time after story 2 and teach D had to resign which is unfortunate bcs she was a good teacher

science equipment malfunction in the science room and started emitting carbon dioxide. we all joked about how we were all "sick" that day because we all had carbon monoxide symptoms like headaches, tiredness, etc. didn't know at the time. we didn't even evacuate until a student PASSED OUT and science lab teacher was like "oh crap we are all showing signs of carbon monoxide poisoning". we all evacuated to the church and fire department came to clear the stuff out. turns out none of the sensors worked and we would've DIED if nobody noticed anything.

One seemingly normal day, we are sitting in class. It’s about the middle of the day and we are doing silent work. All of a sudden, the Alice alarm goes off (basically an alarm that detects gun shots). We are all panicking, we are told over the loudspeaker where it was detected, and it just so happened to be on the other side of the school, so my class, and a few others around us, decided to evacuate. We went to our rally points and texted family and friends. We looked on social media to see if anyone posted anything about the situation. About an hour and a half later, the school is cleared by police and we are told we can go back in. The rest of the day we hear many rumors about what happened. The next day, we find out that one of the rumors was true. Some kid in gym class threw a frisbee at one of the detectors so hard that it thought it was a gun shot, and that’s why that day is known as “the frisbee incident”. And now all of the detectors in the gym have covers over them to prevent that from happening again.

My school is a hell hole. We’ve had multiple incidents. Some were funny, some were concerning and others were a mixture of both. I feel like it’s best to share the funny ones. This is a high school combined with an elementary and has less than 200 students. All of us are from 5 different near ghost towns. So, when I was in 7th grade, or 8th grade, someone put a computer battery in a microwave. Literally a quarter of the high school side of the school was almost wiped out by that move. No one died, just everyone’s lungs hurt for a bit afterwards. We refer to it as the lithium incident. Last year when I was in grade 11 we had a car fire INSIDE the school. We have a garage/workshop in the school. Three guys who are now mechanics were working on a teachers old shit box of a truck. They were smart about it. Two of them had fire extinguishers, the other was working on trying to get the truck to start. If it all went well it wouldn’t have been one of the many incidents. We were all wondering why the school smelled of oil and why the fire alarm went off. Would also like to point out my moms reaction when I texted her about the situation was “lol 😂”. Weirdly enough a lot of our incidents involve either accidentally setting something on fire or purposely trying to set something on fire. I feel bad for the elementary kids sometimes lmao. We are traumatizing them at least twice a year.

One day at my middle school, they called all the teachers to meet for an "emergency meeting". We students didn't pay much attention and went on with our business. Later, my third period teacher told us that we were going to an assembly. Ironically, we were supposed to have a suicide prevention assembly that day and assumed that that was where we were going, though it was supposed to be at fourth period instead of third. On the way there, we noticed that it wasn't just our class or two classes, but the _entire school._ They packed us into the gym, had the teachers leave, and told us to call our parents and go home. Later that day, we found out that our assistant principal had committed suicide on campus that morning.

We had classes during the shooting but we were fine except for anyone outside who got scared and ran because of it - but other than what happened to the passengers of the car, nobody at school got hurt, even tho bullets got in. I think a bullet grazed a student's arm tho but just barely. Another incident: Student threatened to do a shooting. It didnt happen, but here's the thing: The letter said he'd do it on a day of March. I dont remember which so I'll say 18. The school MISREAD IT and we didnt attend on MAY 18. They're stupid.

In college though, there was someone who had some mental issues, not sure what exactly. One day he just started banging his head rlly hard on the table and about 3 teachers were there to deal with him and the class. After a few mins one teacher let us leave since we had about 20 minutes left anyway.

Some kids broke into the high school for shenanigans through a window, but the windows had security wire to prevent theft. One kid sliced his elbow up badly. Gushing blood, they went to the HomeEc room to get tea towels to staunch the flow. Seeing it wasn't working, the kids then ran back out and to the hospital right behind the high school. The trail of blood told us everything.

We didn’t have actual bleachers because of how small our school was and still is. And apparently, a kid was running on the benches when it straight up *flipped* and took the kid down with it. Also, the kids entire thumb had been taken off because of it.

I know this is a super late one, and you all may believe it or not, but at some point during my sophomore-junior year (cant remember which), all, and I mean ALL boys, from freshmen to seniors, were called into my high school's auditorium. At first, I thought it would be an announcement about an all boys club looking for new members. WRONG! Instead, it was an assembly regarding a theft in the school. But you may be asking 'What got stolen that was bad enough to cause the principals to call all male students to the auditorium?' Well, dear readers, all that fuss was over one..single..sink. Yep. I kid you not. Some blockhead decided to steal an entire sink from the boys bathroom in the freshman hall (the school had halls for each grade).

In my elementary school there was an incident that i was heavily involved in. Those past weeks things have been disappearing. For example some money and pins. Weirdly, it only happened in the 5th grade, all other grades were safe. Then, one Tuesday, my friend's shoe went missing, lets call him vA (victim A), we searched all over for vA's shoe until a girl, who I'll call A, found it in the girl's bathroom drenched in water. We just went back home after that but it was the talk of class for the next few days. A week later on Wednesday, there was a drawing assignment i left (stupidly) wide open on my desk with a few coloring pencil wich i borrowed from my friend. I came back and found it scribbled all over with red coloring pencil and cried because it took hours to make and now i had to remake it. One or two things went missing after that but a few months later at Tuesday i brought my jacket to class because it was pretty cold that day. I was gonna go to the canteen and i told my friend and A to take care of my jacket for me. I came back and found a crowd outside the classroom surrounding the sink with a classmate and A holding my jacket as it drips water all over the place with footmarks on it. They explained that A had found it and they were trying to take it out of the sink. I was very upset about this of course. At this point the whole class seemed to have a suspicion that it was A who did all those things. I was sure that A wouldn't do anything to B because they were basically sister's but my predictions were wrong. This time on Monday, B had lost her Shoe. As you might have expected, A had found the shoe once again. The class was exhausted with this back and forth searching. The next week while i was changing my clothes with my friends i lost my glasses. I went hysterical cause i thought my mom would be furious. The teacher asked us to do another search but the boys didn't want anything to do with it and blamed it on me for not taking care of it properly even though i did ask one of my friend to look over my glasses. Dun dun dun A found it in the trash can then i cried like the crybaby i am. My mom came and she bought me ice cream afterwards. This school was owned by th military and my dad was also in the military with a pretty high position and good connection with the one in charge of the school so if he wanted he could expel the kid who did it. They review camera footage and found that A was guilty. I got intel from a friend who's mom was also called to review footage. Then bla bla bla end of story Edit : didn't realize how long this is Edit : I forgot to say but my mom thought about what would happen to A and A's family so A didn't get expelled and now we're still friends. We just kinda stopped talking about it.

I’m not even done with my freshman year. We’ve had new recruits get caught jacking off during fire drills and people fucking their pillows during the first week, then we’ve had a cadre staff get fired for allegedly sleeping with one of his recruits (even though those allegations were damn near completely fabricated) and even more than half of one of the freshman companies getting caught with booze in their rooms. That’s not even counting what happened last year where some freshmen from another company kidnapped and beat up one of their corporals.

But one day the asshole was fucking with him in the lunch room and it moved out to the commons and finally victim swung on asshole only to get knocked back and hit his head on the concrete and he died in the hospital. Now the fucked up part is that because the victim swung first asshole wasn't charged in his death. The school later decided to expell him. The scariest part for me is that dude picked fights with my younger brother quite often, and granted he was to much of a puss to actually fight my brother but still part of me wonders how easily it could have been him.

A nurse died when I was in either late third grade or early fourth grade. I remember seeing an ambulance outside the school on the other side of the parking lot during recess. We were ushered inside a little early, I think, but it didn’t make much of a difference because it was the end. After we started eating lunch, the teachers covered the cafeteria windows with blackout curtains so we couldn’t see what was happening. They didn’t want to traumatize us. We learned she’d passed a week or so later (can’t remember exactly) of a heart attack. We even had a song to sing in honor of her during choir. Pretty sad.
