Jasmine you’re an amazing cook. I love your pandesal recipe! I am a Pacific Islander from the island of Palau. I love all your videos and transitioning to a plant base way of eating. For that cut on your finger, after washing it, put on a pinch of turmeric on it and press gently to stop the bleeding. It stings, but it is effective. Turmeric is antibiotic and helps with disinfecting and healing cuts. We use turmeric like that in India.

Hi Jasmine and Chris, I loved this. I love cookbook reviews. All the recipes sound amazing! Now I'll have to get a copy of lIv's book. I wanted to tell you that I just found a can opener that cuts the cans in such a way that you don't cut yourself. It also doesn't cut any animals either if they root through the garbage. Got to love that! I bought the Oxo Good Grips Can Opener for my Dad, and I love it. It's so much easier to use than traditional can openers. It costs like 9 bucks on amazon. Dolores

Try Mae Ploy Thai Curry Paste. It is so good! If you have an H Mart they have it. If you want to use the recipe on the package try it with tofu, pineapple, potatoes, carrots, and broccoli and serve with jasmine rice. It's so good omg!

Love your videos and recipes! Get a can opener that uncrimps the edges instead of the sharp cut. Marshall’s has them. You’ll never cut yourself again like that and bonus is it doesn’t get nasty because it doesn’t cut into the can and touch the food.

Chris eating chilli with a fork 😂😂 Peanut butter bread is AMAZING with chilli when you don't have the means for cornbread! Sounds crazy I know, but it's delicious 😊

Yes! When I was in school, the cafeteria would always serve peanut butter sandwiches with chili it it was delicious. It's something I still do.

I got a can opener from Pampered Chef that creates no sharp edges. Literally the only thing I've ever bought from them but so worth it.

Try Craiglist free stuff or furniture for sale for items. Lots of people moving in and out of Seattle and Portland giving away items that are literally brand new and bonus is no off gassing and saving stuff from the land fill. Everything looked so delicious! ❤️

Excellent video and recipes. I will have to get a copy of the Liv B cookbook and I think her channel is brilliant. I love Budget and easy recipes. I also enjoy your channel too. Jasmine has to be careful to avoid cutting herself, she must be accident prone.

Lol, I basically made this for lunch without even seeing the recipe. Also for a quick yellow curry recipe. Mix garlic powder, turmeric, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, sugar, coriander and fenugreek

Jasmine, I think deep dish apple pie has to do with the type of dish it is baked in. My grandmother had these Pyrex pie dishes and one of them is a wider deeper one. According to my aunt, that is a deep dish pie dish. Hope that helps. If I"m wrong about why it's a deep dish apple pie, let me know. Sorry for the multiple comments. Have an awesome day. Dolores

A large cupcake is called a cake cos it won't fit in a cup, right? 😂 I've seen big cake liners in Japan so I know they exist! They make good microwave cakes if you don't have an oven 👍 I used to make everyone's birthday cakes when I lived there 😊

I would eat that savory breakfast bowl for lunch or dinner, but it doesn't sound good for breakfast. I am an overnight oats person for breakfast. I don't have any vegan cookbooks, and would to win this. I need ideas so I can branch out more. @dorkylov

Love the video, and I love "the best part" but hearing it sped up like that was like, physically painful to me for some reason lol. I think it's because we played the original version at our wedding so hearing it changed just bothers me.
