"the gag order bars Trump from making or directing others to make public statements about any juror and about any “reasonably foreseeable” witness' participation in the investigation or the trial." It's being expressed the surrogates aren't covered under Trump's gag order, but it's possible they may be if he's said a word to them about asking them to be there and their having said anything he's not to have directed them to say. Seems like pretty thin ice to be walking on.

Proving an intentional criminal violation requires a high standard of evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. The classified nature of the payments alone doesn't necessarily prove unlawful intent. The payments were personal in nature, not campaign-related. The affair with Stormy Daniels happened many years before Trump was a candidate, so the motivation was to protect his personal reputation and family relationships, not to influence the election.

Just about every thing that Cohen testified about today HAS ALREADY BEEN CORROBORATED by documents (already in evidence and brought up again today) and other witnesses earlier in this trial. Cohen’s role is more about stringing all the evidence together into a clearer narrative. No one has to believe Cohen since everything he is saying is something we ALL ALREADY KNOW.

@@UnclePlaysBadly Of course he will because "it's all lies". By not taking the stand he willingly gives up that right. Not a good look for the jury who may want to hear his side of these charges. I guessing no. Leaving them to use all that's been put forward minus Trump's testimony. Not to worry I'm sure he will explain why he did not.

@@JJM2222 Trump paying by check money to Stormy Danial to keep her quiet about his actions of paying as a prostitution. To protect himself in the 2016 election. Trump paid hush money to Stormy Danials to shut her up during the 2016 presidential election. Cohen was Trumps attorney back then he’s the one who handled the funds for the deal. He became disgusted by the whole thing and broke down and told Americans what took place! He knew it would incriminate himself by telling the truth but did it anyway and went to jail for it during Trump’s Electoral Presidential Term. Now he’s out of prison and has taken the stand to testify against Trump.
