We love reading the Christmas and Hanukkah stories and Christmas devotionals together!!! We don’t know how long we will school for as we are spending Christmas in Hawaii this year and my our 1st place for travel schooling is Hawaii!!! I use the quizzes as discussion guides!!!

I know it gets busy from time to time and there’s only so much we can do so don’t worry if we don’t see you for a month or so. We understand how hard it is.

So good to see you, I've missed you! Loved this video! The gift cards to strangers at Christmas is such a fun, neat idea!? And I've got to check out the Christmas Lamplighter book! I've been making a point of reading out loud to my kiddos. They love it. Super excited for you guys as the arrival of your newest member draws near!❤❤😊

❤️ awww thank you so much! I’m so sooooo excited to start the lamplighter book and I’m so happy you all are doing read alouds. Looking back over the last four years of homeschooling those have been my favorite memories with the kids. I hope you all make those same memories 💕

Yay! What fun! I’m a sucker for good books too! This year we will wrap up our science, geography and history just after Thanksgiving, and then not start the next unit until January. The rest of the time before Christmas we will do math and language arts, but I’ll incorporate Christmas themed activities (especially with my 1st grader)! We also will be reading all the favorite holiday books and adding more from the library. Taking the week of Christmas off and starting back right after New Years to keep ourselves in line lol. Praying for a wonderful next month plus for you in this pregnancy, and a safe and healthy season after her birth!!❤

@@HomegrownHomeschool we are using the good and the beautiful mammals along with an animal book (all about the mammals of North America) by Thornton Burgess which is more charlotte mason style for science now…but will be doing an interest led study on reptiles/amphibians just on our own through library books, videos and note booking. History is mostly a mish-mash of things I’ve collected for ancient history study along with History Pockets for note booking and some random craft books I’ve found used to make things interesting. Geography we see using a unit from another mama here on KZfaq, Jessica from the Waldock Way for world geography. Loving it so far!!
