As usual very informative and concise,well done. Carry a pw,gw,a 56 degree which i use very often plus a 64 degree for slopes and trouble spots,in fact the 64 degree is harder to hit off an easy surface compared to long grass where the ball pops out! All are 10 bounce.

Cool insight on using a 64 degree on slopes; hadn't thought of that! Don't think I'll need one quite yet, haha! Cheers!

@@QueensWino thanks, use it with the slope to reduce the angle,exemple à 15 degree bank becomes 49 degree like à gw. Enjoy your golf

I carry 46/6 , 52/9 , 58/14. Whenever I carry a full set. In the winter I may just carry the 46. Cheer's

Why are the majority of wedges now blades. The accepted perception are that blades are more difficult to use so why do major manufacturers not make cavity back wedges for the less accomplished golfers. In the 1990's and early 2000's the standard iron set included cavity back pitching wedge and sand wedge.

Interesting thought and not one we've spent too much time on when we definitely should. The cavity backs vs blades debate always seems to centre on irons rather than wedges but regular players should obviously be aiming for as much help as they can get throughout the bag. There are definitely good cavity back options out there for wedges but you are absolutely right they don't get much attention given all the top players always tend to use blade wedges because of the degree of control they are looking for around the green.
