In 2024, TDS must don't bring a new Defend the Center event, add new towers and more replayable stuff, don't always rely on adding skin crates that can feel boring after each skin updates. Story mode would be cool, but I remember the devs said they're going to bring back Lunar Overture as a campaign prologue story mode. Maybe the other events will get the same treatment to becoming permanent gamemodes like how TBZ did with Cold Construct. More collabs should actually happen, I wish the Arsenal x TDS collab will come to fruition. For Chaos Mode, it's hope it's not going to repeat the disaster of Hardcore testing update. I am also looking forward to something like harder versions of Normal, Molten and Fallen modes for a more challenging gameplay experience

I’m pretty sure it’ll be a very exciting year. If they do add a new gem tower, im pretty sure they might also rework hardcore. Hardcore isn’t completely up to date, and seeing it get reworked would be nice.

A very cool concept could be tower synergies, could make for much more complex roles in quads and overall more fun gameplay

Ideas: Add a new golden skin or 2, maybe to a tower that sucks to give more people a reason to grind (hunter, shotgunner, etc) Some more video game themed events, we got pizza party, but i think it would be cool to get some new ones Bring back something similar to golden mode but make it entirely new and harder than fallen with like 1000 coin win update hardcore

I think skins will fill in the gap between the real updates like the new difficulty,evolved towers,event,etc

Hopefully they fix vr as I tried it multiple times but you get bugged after you join a match. Hopefully they fix that

Commando and Paintballer rework are the 2 things I look forward to. Anything else like skin crates would hopefully have cool looking Minigunner skins.

On easter i think they might sell swarmer since swarmer is outdated, on summer i’m expecting the end of summer skins to return in a crate, for valentines i predict the lovely crate might make a comeback, for halloween i expect a generic halloween event with 20 or so waves with a balanced or insanely jacked tower and for christmas i’m expecting a good,balanced event. Also we can’t forget the commando rework and maybe a paintballer rework

They need to add like a circus update event or something and the event tower could be clown. The clown makes enemy’s around it laugh and there will be a smaller area in its range that allows clown to tickle them doing damage

i mean, lots of people were doubting tds christmas event coming out but it did so who knows what awaits us in the future

Instead of making Defend the Center events, they should make a perm map that uses Defend the Center, like Badlands II or PWII, with a unique concept to make it fun and replayable, as the the 3 perm exclusive modes we have right now are getting a bit boring

In the update forecast they said that two new towers will be added alongside the new mode.

Commando rework, hopefully a summer event (like area 51), 2 new towers added (maybe war machine and mecha base?), and finally the new mode.

I think that we may get something like MoC or Simulated Universe in HSR in TDS where we get an endgame that has more twists than what will the Mystery boss summon.

The competition between TDX and TDS will be very beneficial for both games especially TDS.

Necromancer is kinda an event tower as you don't need to win an event but appears for limited times but also it will be for sale for gems on and off through out the year in my opinion Necromacer is in grey ground between being event tower

tbh TDX was a much needed competitor because at this point before TDX's launch TDS was dominating the tower defense genre of games soo yeah with TDX here its gonna be quite a wild ride im expecting great updates from both games because at the end of the day the game with the most content and the one that is constantly updated will be the best game.

It would be cool if the events this year were like Spring 2022 and the Current event as in Old Bosses Returning for "Revenge". Wouldnt it be cool to finally refight the Raider Boss or the Frost Spirit?

I think the new mode will come out late January. Cause John said nightmare mode would come out around late January so I think they would release the new mode as completion to tdx

Theory for Easter event. I think they will rework and re add swarmer for Easter because swarmer has not been out since 2020

Pretty sure act 3 was that new mode. I think they considered that chaos mode, because I think we can all agree that was very chaotic!

Fun fact : easter 2022 only had 1 spawn and like a few thousands layed paths so the enemies just went from the roadway outside of the map rill they reach their supposed "spawnpoint" so not randomized paths

Jester most likely is getting nerfed this year. i dont think it will be as massive as toxic gunner's first nerf but i think it will lose the ability to use confusion on bosses and poison damage will probably be nerfed

I think they finaly add any of these towers: war mashine, mecha base, hacker tower, maybe back of hidden wave and void miner. For reworks they can be: paintballer, military base, maybe crook boss, scout, archer, commando, slaher, and IT will be nice if militant gets old ability.

They should add: Challenges: Stuff like Honey Valley but all enmies are hidden or only being able to place towers between waves. Redemption: Getting 5 of the same tower maxed out will allow you to redeem the towers making them very powerful (depending on how powerful theyre intended to be) like Scout will get one where he does 20 damage and also deals double damage to hiddens. Can call in spec ops soldiers as units that deal 4 damage in burst action. Redeeming towers prevents you from getting other one of the tower you redeemed and redeeming will clean up the other 4 instances of the tower (the redeemed one will be the first instance of the tower that got redeemed.)

Random new tower prediction: it will be a technological sort of tower and it will generate cash based on in-range towers’ damage by “hacking” or something like that. And you would earn the ability to buy it by beating crypto mode or techno mode. Other stuff: REWORK HARDCORE, make a brawler tower, make an elf camp skin that spawns animals instead of elves, a sandbox mode ( just make sure it doesn’t give rewards), but most importantly, rework paintballer, medic, and commando

if there's any new game mode or new tower for tds i will expect the chaos mode like they said in 2021 and the hacker tower since it's going to be gems

I specifically grinded 4000 gems for the november update cuz I really thought they were going to release a gem tower just for them to not release it lol

To be honest I think they should add a boss rush mode

Since maps have modifiers, they should add an option to add your own modifiers. You can't just multiple lanes to any map, obviously, but maybe some modifiers like 2x enemies, 2x enemy health, 2x enemy speed, all hiddens, all mysteries could add some variety and challenge to TDS.
