I'm not mad at Audrey not having a harsh punishment as she essentially had a psychotic breakdown. I think what would most likely happen next for her is counciling and being paired up with a younger VK in a Big Brother Big Sister like program to help her put some old view to rest and do some actual good.

@@Ginger-z-Corner Well I think part of the reason is that it's been pushed on her by her Grandmother that she was going to marry Ben be his wife and be Queen and that all went away. If you add into the fact that it was stated in the books that Aurora raised her daughter away from anything bad, hateful or loveless she most likely doesn't have the coping skills to deal with rejection. She's been drilled to keep people at arms length and keep up appearances so she doesn't actually have any genuine relationships with most of the people in her life. So since her full perspective of life was shattered psychotic breakdown no different that the loving , faithful wife that was raised if she treats her man right he will never cheat and he sleeps with anything that moves would have a breakdown. Now the counciling would probably be very intense to help her work out her issues , and most likely involve some anger management and community service ( mentoring kids). But going to hard on her would be a bad move politically as they are trying to push the message of " we have both good and bad and we should forgive" and it's her first offense so makes sense for her punishment to be lighter. That was my Ted Talk thank you for coming.

@@EvolvingChaos That makes sense but that doesn't excuse her actions she knew what she was doing was wrong. Mental breakdown or the fact that she was a spoiled brat who thinks she deserves everything just because she's a princess, she should have been punished way more.

@@Ginger-z-Corner Well there's two problems 1. We can make a pretty good case that she may have been influenced by Maleficent Staff causing her to go way further, because it looks a lot more like she's just going to steal the crown and build up to greater evil 2. We have no idea what her full punishment might have been because she might have been sentenced after the movie to a punishment. This could be anything for what I've suggested to house arrest to a year imprisonment but I don't think it'll super harsh because it was a first offense and it wasn't attempted murder like so many other villains. She'll get something but only we can dream the punishment since the series is now over. Thank you for the lovely and respectful back and forth.

Davis Lundrigan I have a theory about Evie (which could work as Snow White has no kids as old as the VKs), I think she is an actual princess. If her mother committed the crimes against Snow White shortly after her husband died, she could have been in early stages of pregnancy during it and her punishment. Evie was born on the Isle but conceived with her husband, the king

I think Carlos’s dad is Lars from 101 Dalmatians 2 since all the kids in the movie have a letter in their name that is also in their parents name and all the letters in Lars are also in Carlos. Also Lars did get kind of flirty with Cruella in the movie.

@@lauracatania5063The timing is off for it to be the King. The isle was made 20 years before the start of the series and Evie is 16 in Descendants. I think it's Hans or Prince John, but that's just me.

Even though they won’t appear on screen again, I hope Disney continues the descendants line. Both to inspire children especially those in difficult situations and to honor Cameron who is an incredibly selfless person

I think Audrey shouldn’t get a punishment maybe after the movie Mal would talk with Audrey and then she would know about her grandma, how she “stole” everything from her, etc. And then Mal would understand her and maybe they would be friends.

I still think that Mal did in a way win Ben fairly unlike Audrey says in the movie. On their first date Ben jumps into the inchanted lake and her spell washed off. The second that spell washed off he could have immediately freaked out stormed off and sent them all back home. Even when they first meet he’s captivated by her from the first moment he saw her. He chose to keep going on dates and being with her after the spell was broken bc even Mal as evil and rotten as she was, wasn’t self centered, spoiled and petty as Audrey even tho she was raised in the land of “good” so to speak. Not to mention in all mythology about magic especially love spells, you can’t force someone to love you. Love spells just amplify what is already there. Even in the first movie if Mal didn’t spell Ben he was already moving in the direction of dumping Audrey and being with Mal anyway bc you could see in his face expressions how cute he thought it was when she had her first strawberry or anything else new that she tried and he liked that bc like I said before she wasn’t as petty and self centered as Audrey. Even Audrey in the movie was getting jealous bc everyone was giving Mal the attention she always got she says and I quote “ quoting to the best of my memory” “ if everyone loves her where will I be?” All Audrey cared about was being popular and getting her way like a spoiled brat. So yes Mal did win Ben fair and square bc even in the last movie she didn’t even say if she loved Ben she just wanted the power and status that came with being queen like her family wanted. For the whole did I mention I’m in love with you song okay yeas she deserved an apology for it being so public but if Mal didn’t spell Ben the results would have been the same.

I loved the song Evie sang when she found Doug spelled in her cottage. "One Kiss" was adorable and hilarious. I also wish they had written a duet for Carlos and Jane. (Wishful thinking) and addressed where Lonnie went, because I shipped her and Jay in D2.

I think is a mixture of the fact that she may have some residual magic of her mother's sleeping spell and she made that evil spell almost like a deal with the scepter before touching it and after Mal broke the spell with Hade's ember she fell unconscious so the curse kicked then and probably stronger almost killing her because of the spell she made "the price that I am willing to pay is expensive" like her own life if something went wrong, that's my theory anyway

To be honest, Issac, the Descendants kids are my favorite Disney Characters. Not only did they stay true to themselves, they fight for the other kids who are less fortunate than them, and I wish for a Descendants 4, in which we get to see the VKs and their partners as parents, and the interactions between their kids, or at least Mal and Ben's wedding! If any of you guys reading this agree, feel free to hit the like button on this comment as well as the video!

Hi, I'm Jaydyn Gray and I happen to be a fan of Descendants. The characters I like include Mal, Ben, Carlos, and Dizzy. I know that you did background stories of the VKs and their parents and Disney heroes, and I was wondering if you can you do a background story on the new VKs who appear in Descendants 3.

Even if Kenny Ortega doesn't make anymore Descendants movies since Cameron passed away, maybe the stories can continue, and maybe any ideas that Ortega had for any more Descendants movies can be put into the books. I apologize if it is being disrespectful. That's the last thing that I'd want to do.

I agree with you on all but one point. You said that Mal NEVER let down the ones she loved when it came to difficult decisions. In the third movie, SHE initially proposes the idea to close the barrier on the Isle forever. While I understand her reasons for doing that (she wants to protect Auradon and its people from villains like Hades and Maleficent) she lies to Evie....her BEST FRIEND.....when Evie puts her faith in Mal to do the right thing for the children of the Isle. She then promises Uma and her crew that the VKs could leave the Isle when Uma is threatening to drop Hades's Ember into the sea. When they are reunited with Ben, the truth comes out and all of her friends are betrayed and upset because she lied to them. Yes, she changes her mind in the end, and decides to be Queen of Auradon AND the Isle and unite the two peoples together, but it took her a minute to get there.

Since we all know Hades is Mal’s father, here are my theories of the other parents of the VKs. *Evie’s Father*-The Horned King *Carlos’ Father*-Clayton *Uma’s Father*-Davy Jones *Harry and C.J’s Mother*-Helga (Jay talking about finding a “lost civilization” was a hint that Atlantis the Lost Empire might’ve been canon to the Descendants Universe) *Gil’s Mother*-One of the Bimbettes *Dizzy’s Father*-One of the Stabbington Brothers I couldn’t find my guess on who could’ve been the mothers of Squeaky, Squirmy, Celia or Jay. Let’s see if Wotso Videos could make a video about this , just like when he did a video on guessing the identity of Mal’s father.

Doubt there will be a 4th movie, due to the passing of Cameron. Though, I feel like there could be one more novel, probably named End of the Isle of the Lost. You don’t need actors for a book, so I feel like if the series is to continue, it has to be in books. Sure, recasting in possible, but you can’t just recast Cameron Boyce. It won’t be the same.

I think/Hope there will be one more book that will have Mal and Bens wedding. It will also explain what happened with Audrey cause it seemed like the staff called out to her and Brainwashed her. There is only one person that could half made it do that. Maybe in a scene we didn’t see Audrey set Maleficent free. Now she’s in hiding planning her next move which will hopefully happen in the last book.
