Williams ESPECIALLY with DT now, will prob come back a new man. I def think he AAs next year. Rathjen while incredibly good and could prob AA at both weights, would struggle beating Parco (would prob keep it close) and I think the team benefits from him cutting 8 pounds down and dominating there. Cause 149 with… Ridge Lovett (5th, 2024 was his best chance.) Caleb Henson (1st or 2nd) Shane Van Ness/Tyler Kasak (1st or 2nd) Ty Watters (3rd) Jordan Williams (4th) Casey Swidereski (7th) Kyle Parco (6th) Jackson Arrington (8th) All of those guys are back, alongside Quinn Kinner who was a surprise AA this year who beat Williams. But with DT in Williams corner I think Williams evolves past Kinner. Glad he got to AA though.

Because he’s beaten multiple ranked opponents. Granted no one in the top 5 (I think). Not to mention he has a win over Rocco Welsh and barely lost to Plott at 184. So… I mean he’s def top 10. Not to mention the field has thinned out almost automatically giving him a top 7 ranking.

He goes out at his first tournament shoves a future teammate….yeah it’s Iowa fans fault for booing him…when you act like an arrogant a$$ hat you will get that type of reaction from fans. one would think someone in his position would of been humbled a little bit, and be grateful for the opportunity to wrestle in college again.
