I have recently walked 100 km in 23ish hours and I have to say that it wasn't as tiring as my feet were hurting. The pain started at around 55 km but it wasn't anything unbearable until around 80 km, only then I felt it like I was walking on stones. The last kilometers were quite painful however the motivation of finishing kept me going. The worst thing was probably standing up to walk after a short pause. The following day I felt tired and my feet hurt but not too much. Anyways that's my grain of salt 😄

My record sofar is 24.5 miles or about 40km. I deffinently could of walked further, but like you said the pain in my feet was the biggest negative factor. Also I think the last few miles I started to have a sorness in my lower back muscles. Though I suspect it wouldn't take too much lower back training to overcome that issue.

@@igor_ostrovski Foot shape and size probobly also play a role. Most likely larger feet can better disperse your weight. I'm a US 10.5 size foot, weight 180lb at 5 foot 11 inches. One of two things would happen, in my uneducated, unresearchered top-of-my-head opinion. One: Your body will try to break it down, if t's a rough sponge then it might scratch the sides of your insides, of it were like a magic eraser, it should diyes5 normally. You will probably have digestive problems for the next couple of days though. Two: It would not digest, you will get kidney stones, the sides of your insides would be damaged, and it might soak up some liquids inside the body. I think that number one is more likely though.

I had a experience where I hiked for 24 hours straight. It was a few years ago during the solar eclipse me and my family decided to climb a large moutain to get the best view. We started hiking at 1:00 am made it to the to of the 13 thousand foot mountain just in time for the eclipse and didn't get back until 1:00 am the next day. Close to the end I was so tired I could lie down on the trail and fall asleep instantly. Also my ankles were hurting very badly and I knew I was close to not being able to go any further. Luckily we made it to the car before I "gave up". I can't imagine having to go any further.

The most steps at work I've ever taken was 42,000 some. It was a long winter day, working a special detail in Minot, ND because of the shortage of help. This was walking through snow and carrying a mailbag that weighs anywhere from 1-20 lbs, depending on what's getting delivered.

I walked and finished the Nijmegen march a 40 km every day for 4 days. Total of 160km and 40hours of straight walking. Ofcourse there were 4-20 minute breaks and a few more very small ones through out the day then you rest for a night before you walk again. But it's crazy how the body adapts. Thought I would litterally break my legs during the second day but then my body adapted and 3rd/4th day I was doing fine. Funny enough when I finished the march me and my friend actually ran. This is the military march aswell so we had 10kg backpack and boots (which is more heavy then regular shoes).

How did fish develop legs in the first place??
@Sciencerely

@@samjoshi1812This is a great but very complicated question. I am personally working in a different field (stem cell researcher) but very broadly speaking legs developed from primitive fins. Primitive fins could have had different functions such as being able to hold onto underwater plants while waiting for prey. In this case slight changes in primitive fins could have lead to consequent evolutionary benefits, thereby becoming more and more complex over time. The article below is a detailed description of the origins of limbs. If you are interested in biomedical topics such as Alzheimers, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer or Stem Cells, I am making videos about modern research in these fields. Would be happy to see you around! In fact, walking is an Olympic sport. 20km and 50km events were held every Games. There's also 100km events though it's not in Olympics.

USMC had me hiking 30 miles in 1 day with a 80 lb pack at a 4mph pace for training purposes, going up and down the mountains in Cali really took a toll on our legs and spinal curvature... having done this I can say at the age of 25 my body is probably going to be very fucked up later on in life.

When i was in school i used to use a public bus to get home, but everyone from my town used that bus, i used to walk about 8k steps in 30-40 mins so i could catch it at the station, the opposite side of the city from where my school was, i think i could push myself to get a good 15-20k steps before dying.

Why can humans give 1-3 births at one time while animalls like cats can give birth to around 6 babies at one time? #DearBlocko

Probably because humans don’t have that big of a womb. Idk though

humans can have more than 3. sometimes 6 or 7. Idk it depends on the female, how healthy she is, her age, weight, race, and conditions. (conditions meaning asthma, coughing, allergic reactions)

It would be too dangerous for that to be the norm for us. Birth is extremely painful and risky for humans because of how large are heads are at birth compared to how small our hips are.
