It's sort of a mind trip to think that some consider a true JDM part (or wheel) came on a right hand drive japanese domestic market'ed vehicle but that's not always the case. For example, 19" Rays for a 370z came on the RHD (Japan) and LHD (America) so technically those wheels are American and JDM, so are they JDM or OEM? (fun to think about) Or like the newer Hyundai Tucson's (a Korean company) have Rays on their Night Edition sold in America and maybe other countries???. Volks are engineered by Rays Engineering so if you have Volks do you saying your running a JDM wheel? So like the thumb says History of JDM and the title of the video says history of japanese aftermarket, it's pretty complicated. Yet the term JDM is often used like "oh your car is so JDM" because they have aftermarket orange reflectors or black wheels or one might say they're going for a "JDM look" when in all actuality what some consider a JDM look and what japanese cars really look like are two completely different things, ...sometimes. lol
