ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and KZfaq creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on KZfaq, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on KZfaq.

Wow, ive been to dubai like 6-7 times but I have NEVER had the Emirati values explained in such a wonderful way. People usually show us the shopping malls, fancy desert adventures but the this vlog depicts core Emirati values. Thanks to Syifa for bringing us excellent vlogs like these. Arabs only made 30% out of muslim population though. 70% are non arab...arabian attire certainly has nothing to do with Islamic values. Muslims consist of many different cultures and customs be it asian, european, africaan etc..

Hi Syifa. I always have to remember to eat something BEFORE watching your video! Hi. The rice is basmati long rice and it definitely looks like beriani to me. Yes, I love beriani to bits. There are many different versions and tastes of beriani but my favourite is the rajasthan version. It is a matter of opinion but the taste is very "exclusive and royal". If you haven't, then you ought to try it. Since you are now in vietnam, please do a video of sapa highland & halong bay. Gives me fond memories there. Di sini saya ingin mengambil kesempatan bermaaf-maafan serta mengucapkan "Selamat hari raya aidil fithri maaf dzahir dan bathin". Jom kita bermain mercun!

Forks??? Was at the same meal - different day - the emerati don't use forks - fingers. It is a great program that Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum started - the leader of our meal came from one of the many places I've lived - Lake Oswego OR - yes it is a small world.
