What do you hate the most about school?

Kid got dress coded in my school cuz he showed up to school in a maid dress. That was an interesting experience. And, yes, it was guy. But honestly I feel that’s less surprising that guy did it compared to a girl. Especially with the kids in my school. 3 of some boys I knew came to school the next day with cat ears and a apron on to spite the teacher, because it technically doesn’t break the dress code at all.

As an artist, I can confirm I failed all my classes except Art class

As an astronomy nerd, I can confirm TikTok girls ruined the reputation of astronomy, and I piss off when people confuse astronomy with astrology.

As someone who doesn’t even go to school, and sits at home playing videogames, I see this as an absolute win. [This was a joke. I go to school.] Edit 2: I’m homeschooled, okay? I don’t get how people are so toxic and can’t take a joke. I already said that it was a joke. There is literally no need to be toxic.

I got in trouble for wearing a warm hat in highschool, and for falling asleep, because I physically could not keep my eyes open I was so exhausted. Little did I know I was suffering from a chronic illness!

Here's every dumb reason I got in trouble at school: 1st grade: did a cartwheel in class 2nd - 5th grade: not much 6th grade: I accidentally ran into a kid and apologized but a teacher then said that I had "hands on" despite me NOT HITTING ANYONE, what really sucked was that SHE SAID THAT IF WE'RE IN TROUBLE FOR A STUPID REASON THEN WE SHOULD SPEAK UP ABOUT IT 7th grade: At this point I felt like I had enough and just wanted to end it all, then one time in class, my teacher said that it's my fault, yeah it's my fault I felt that way, not the dumb ass rules 9th grade: Saw a pair of goggles on the floor and decided to wear them then this kid said he'll kill me if I don't put them down then proceeded to try and fight me, I was defending myself but for some reason I almost got suspended Yeah that's pretty much it

as someone who never got in trouble in school I take this as a win 🗿

something that's really confusing with my school is that the reason they don't allow hats is because they can't tell who's on the cameras if something happens, but then they didn't allow people to wear beanies even though they don't hide their face. they DID, however, allow one of my friends to walk around all day wearing a literal shrimp hat without telling him to take it off. 💀

Speaking from experience: ALWAYS fight back if you're being bullied, even if it would get you into more trouble than the bullies. If you take it lying down, everyone will take it as a sign that you're an easy target, and some might even decide to join in on the "fun". Don't hope that eventually someone will step in, because most likely no one will. Fight back, even if you know you'll lose, and hold your head high. If no teacher, staff, parents or peers would be on your side, then at least you should be on your own. Hang in there, I'm rooting for ya.

School has a ton to hate as well as to love

I hate it when you're actually sick, just not enough to show phsyically noticeable symptoms such as a fever, but the teachers and nurse don't care, leaving you not even feeling good enough to properly do the schoolwork, because the school is so bad they can't go a day without a fourth of the student body faking sick, and instead of taking notice of how bad the school has to be run, and how miserable the student body must be, in order for that many kids to try and fake sick in the first place, they shift the blame to the "irresponsible" students. X_X Not to mention, what I probably hate most, how you're not really learning anything it looks like they want you to in there, such as core subjects, but rather just learning how cheat, pretend, and conform so you can be the average worker joe in society, instead of a free thinking citizen with open and great ideas about how to make the world a better place for everyone in it. I don't just hate school, it is my least favorite part of american society (even just barely managing to beat out american healthcare.)

it sucks that people get in trouble for fighting back against bullies, sometimes schools are messed up. Also, my favorite subject is math and my least favorite is either history (very boring) or writing (I want to use my skills on something I’m more interested in instead of writing essays on boring books)

Here’s a little story for you, one time I got in trouble this, was like last year, I got in trouble for having a anxiety attack, and my third grade I got in trouble for having a blood soaked sock because some kid pushed me into the gravel and I now have a fake knee cap.

One time the teacher in year 7 saw me drawing everywhere and said: "I will tell your parents about it and if it does not stop, I will send you to a special place where you can"t draw forever!!" But it was never my fault, because I can"t resist it and make it stop! And now i'm doing fine, but I still doodle everywhere and i'm actually one of the smartest people in class

Why is fighting back a bully a rule if you will get murdered by them if not? 💀

I remember that when I was younger, I didn't often raise my hand but when I did I was ignored for the entire period and it happened pretty much everytime I raised my hand and I'd watch the teacher go to all the other kids who had raised their hands after me and as a little kid then, I thought the teachers hated me.

I have never gotten in trouble for any of those. Even if I had done them, I'm seen as "the good kid" by all my current teachers, so I haven't gotten in trouble. It also helps that late work, showing up late to first period, leaving sixth period early, wearing headphones in class, strait up crying in class over little things, etc are all in my IEP and I can't get in trouble for them. 😂

I always sleep in class and in a way that nobody notices that anybody can't tell if I am sleeping or not. It's a problem when a question is asked. Not because I don't know the answer but because I don't know the question.

6:20 I always hated that in school… until the revolution came… the students at my school rose up against that rule and the school surrendered and now we are allowed to wear hats and hoods in our school. In fact, the revolution caused the entire dress code to be liberalized, especially for girls. The dress code is almost non-existent in my school now.

My Personal Top 3 least favorite school subjects on that list are Music, Recess and Sports : Music because of how bad my schoolmates were playing Sports because of how much efforts were wasted due to my poor spatial sense. Now for Recess, here's the thing : usually I have nothing about it, but the sheer amount of noise just overwhelms me as an Aspie. During Recess, I had no choice but to lock myself in the bathroom, since it's the least noisy place in that school. Yes, I was the smart kid in class, but I also could double as a semi-popular kid when needed.
