I'm so happy to have found a travel creator who emphasizes on safety first. I would not have thought of the all black theme! I'm a firm believer in making sure I have a map. It's more challenging, fun as well as useful in mile markers, planning gas and so much more. Thank you'!

You can charge your Jackery while you drive, thus lessening the need to find shore power places to charge it. I have 3 of various sizes (300, 500, 1k) and have always kept them charged this way. I'm impressed by the Kelly, but not sure if it could be used in areas that don't allow open flame burning during droughts. I'll be very interested in how well that awning works for you. It looks like a winner!

This is a really good point about charging off the vehicle alternator. 👍🏼 I haven't used the Kelly Kettle when there's a fire ban on. I have to be creative and eat something different on those trips. Maybe I should make a video about it. PB&J anyone?

Great video Karen. For those who you covered everything well. I’m going to look into the chair you described. I think they will work very well when my wife and I go on our day long biking tours. They would fit perfectly on our B.O.B. Trailer I pull behind my bike. Have to have something to sit on when we go on our picnics lol.

the bug screen thing is exactly what I'm looking for. Normally I just camp in a regular tent away from my car because I only drive a regular car (Hyundai Elantra 2022), but I've always been thinking that since my car does have a sunroof I could always keep that open for ventilation as long as I had some kind of bug screen. Then I might be able to configure the car to allow me to sleep in it if I folded down the backseats to expose the trunk area from within giving me a large flat area.

@@ExploringCanadaInfo its just a regular sedan. Hyundai Elantra 2022. But with the backseats folded down and the trunk open, it opens wide enough to become a quasi hatchback, that might work!

Great review. I have a few things that you have such as a canopy, and jackery. But I’m interested in the Zoleo. I did have to get a bug screen tent while travelling as the mosquitos were everywhere. It was a game changer on our trip and will be going with me.

Check London Drugs for a Zoleo, I got mine on a pre-Christmas sale. Very affordable. And way easier to operate than some of the other similar tools.

You commented on my channel, so I came to check out your channel. A year ago I bought the Kelly kettle, and before I could use it, it was part of my storage that was taken. How do you like that awning? Do you feel it’s worth it? I’ll look it up and see if I can find it. Last summer I went up to Canada for two weeks. I couldn’t find anybody to camp with and so I returned back to the states. I wished I could’ve gone all the way across like I did when I was a little kid.

Thank you for dropping by Exploring Canada. 👋I haven't used the awning yet but highly recommend the tent that I use with the tailgate of my SUV. There's a 20% coupon code in the description that you can use in the USA and Canada.

Hello Your video was very informative. Coming from the US, we are planning to camp in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I find it difficult to make reservations for campgrounds in Canada. Do you have any suggestions to book Canadian campgrounds? Thank you
@ExploringCanadaInfo
@ExploringCanadaInfo 6 ай бұрын
Thank you for the nice compliment on the video, I'm glad you found it helpful. Almost every province has a provincial park system and most accept online reservations. Some like Saskatchewan and Manitoba have photos of each campsite that you can look at when you are booking. Other provinces have that feature as well. Each province operates independently so you won't be able to book NS and NB from the same website. There is a system of National Parks in Canada and they have an online booking site for these as well. Most provinces have regional parks as well and many provinces have a central website that links to various regional parks in their area. While regional parks don't get the big budget ad campaigns they are still worth checking into. One of my fav parks ever, Pine Cree, is a regional park in Sask. I have two videos about it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rtF6hrN3uZaWeGw.html and kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eJlxZpOpxLO9cnk.html. This is a regional park in Manitoba I love as well. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hsVdZNyQv7arlGw.html I hope this gives you a better idea of what you can expect at regional parks as well.
