Stopped right after the swatches to start a new cart to add New Nude & Golden Halo. My 2nd order should be here this coming week but I over looked those as their pictures don't show them off like your live swatches do. I can't wait until you get the New Eye Dust to do a video so I can see how many I 😅 should have bought above the 2 I ordered. I just wish they were pressed shadows.

Aww thank you so much 💙 they have so many beautiful new products! I haven't heard anything about if I'm getting them in PR yet 🙈 My cart is huge, so it'll be a while until I can afford ordering, especially since UPS is only shipping option now and I'll have to pay taxes 😓

@@MartesMakeup I wish they still offered the cheaper shipping, I didn't mind the longer delivery time. Would have already done another order if shipping to US was not so expensive. I'll wait a couple more paydays and do another huge order after I see swatches of the new eye dusts. I did end up ordering a bunch of eye brushes, they were half off so if there to big I'll give them to a friend with normal size eyes

@@excellence_is_me I did a 238.00 E order but they were sold out on the Turbina Palette when I placed it. I did get some Turbo glow singles, velvets, marbles, the new eye dusts & halos, eye brushes, and palettes. 😆 🤣 6 items were palettes, 6 eye brushes, 2 empty palettes, and all the rest were singles. My sister was supposed to help narrow down the order but it ended up doubling it but I'm not sad at all just super 😁excited.

I guess I should have said the micro plastic in the holo shadows from glamshop, I’m okay with those on my eyes as I don’t wear sparkly shadows every day.

I no longer use mine anymore as my career went elsewhere, but teaching was also my first bachelors degree at my first university. 👩‍🎓 It'll be so exciting when you graduate!!

Microplastic is in many, many skincare and makeup cosmetics because it's a nonexpensive way to adjust the thickness of product. It's absolutely neutral and harmless for our bodies and only bad for the environment.

@@Therese_MakeupArt most conventional makeup contains microplastic or silicones. The easiest way to avoid them is to look for mineral makeup brands. I don't know where you're from but Bare Minerals is widely available and Concrete Minerals ship worldwide for a good price. For US you can also check Meow Cosmetics. For Europe - Lily Lolo or Earthnicity (UK based), Pixie Cosmetics (Poland based). I have oily and acne-prone skin and mineral foundations are so good for me I'll never look back at traditional ones. Not every formulation will be suitable for dry skin, but I also know people with dry skin who use minerals.

Didn't get any and don't plan to. It's the same for me as micro beads in face washes. If I can help it I don't want to pollute the environment more, same reason I don't use glitter. Unfortunately makeup as is is bad for the environment, since mica mining is a factor for pollution. And not all eyeshadow is made with synthetic mica, which still uses potassium to make it. So in the end us makeup lovers have a part of responsibility in polluting the environment through our consumption of makeup products. And that's not even taking into account the logistics of shipping parcels from the other part of the world...

yeah especially with how MANY makeup users are in the world, every one of our actions as a collective adds up and we need to hold all these companies who continue to produce single use, microplastics in makeup accountable for their contributions to unnecessary waste and harmful ingredients being tossed into the environment. no one should continue to produce these plastic glitters. that's why i absolutely hate the huge uptick in pressed glitters coming out over the past couple years in makeup brands

Yeah, I agree with what you're saying! I try to avoid pressed glitters too after getting to know the impact they have on the environment. I think most hobbies will have some connection to polluting the environment. Generally just consumption of products is horrible for the environment! We just have to do our best to take measures where we can ❤

@@MartesMakeup I hardly see people trying to curb their consumption of makeup and I feel that YT and other platforms pretty much make that impossible. If anything it just makes matters worse as more and more people are exposed to all kinds of content that just promotes consumerism, and brands as a whole feed on fomo. Of course I myself am the first to fall for it, but stuff like micro plastics just doesn't fly with me.

@@han__nya well, I get where you're coming from. But for me KZfaq is about sharing the love for makeup. When I talk about products it is to share my experience and often the love for them. Since I feel so great when using them, if I can help others feel that too, it's awesome! And it's amazing to connect with people who feel the same way about makeup and certain products. It's kinda hard, since KZfaq is a platform where money is made through affecting others to purchase though, and I don't like the thought of selling as intent for creating content. Luckily we can choose who we watch! As a watcher, I typically use KZfaq to make better decisions for my purchases. I rarely feel pressured to buy things because of seeing it being used by others. But I suppose people are different that way! Idk if this is too related to what you were saying, but thats my initial thoughts at least!

@@MartesMakeup Sure, it is so endearing to see you excited about makeup, it's quite contagious really.^^ Of course i choose carefully who I watch, for example I don't watch any of the bigger influencers, and even some smaller influencers whom I feel can be just as problematic. In my case I try to limit my purchases, and I'm already limited in how much I can spend on makeup since it's non essential by nature, so it is easier for me to control my spending and my carbon print as well than let's say someone who is based in the US. I also use forward shipping companies, because not only do some brands not ship to my country period, but it's also better to consolidate my shipments into one even though shipping is expensive. Before I buy from a brand I try to take all those things into consideration. These small things do really help in curbing my spending on makeup.:)
