@@kofisam9650 The water advice is not solid. In the Urban Centres are safe especially Accra Sekondi Cape Coast and Accra. Most homes have Polytanks so water supply is everywhere. The Forex rate is stable and exciting.

Boil tap water in a large kettle, leave it to cool, pour in bottle and store in fridge-drink that its safe when boiled prior for use as drinking water. u can cook with tap water its safe as long as the food requires heating. bottled water will take lots of your money. you can depend on bottled water if you are on a short stay.

Your videos are so informative for even those of us living in Ghana. Your enthusiasme, variety of topics are fantastic. Love your understanding that Ghana is not Europe, different culture, attitudes, availability of stuff and utilities, yet you are ready to adjust and not make negative comparisons. I am a fan!

A simple way to repel bugs in your pantry foods like rice, flour, pasta etc. is to put some bay leaves inside. Bugs dislike the smell. You can also place them additionally on the shelves among your food. I put bay leaves in my flour and transfer the flour to a sealed jar in my pantry.

If you order an Uber with your mobile with a foreign number the driver will see it about a block away and cancel the trip. I have had instances when I can see the car sitting down the street. They assume that you will pay by card and they need cash for gas to keep driving

Some very useful information as far as prices are concerned local is cheap whereas anything that is imported is very expensive.Unfortunately I don,t like spicy food and Ghanaian food is extremely spicy for me .Ghana could have a much bigger tourist industry if it would get rid of its very expensive visa system look at South Africa it has a 90 day visa free stay.Even if you have a 3 month visa by law at the airport they will only give you 60 days.
